I’d play it. I’d even go for a pack with some of their New Edition songs: Candy Girl, Mr. Telephone Man, Cool It Now.
Yes to any Sisters! “This Corrosion”, “Dominion (Mother Russia)”, “Lucretia, My Reflection”.
And Bauhaus: “Dark Entries”, “Telegram Sam”, “Terror Couple Killed Colonel”, “Sanity Assassin”. I supposed “Bela Legosi’s Dead” too as it’s their most “known” song, though I don’t know how fun that’d be to play really.
And if we’re talking old school goth, we need the goth anthem of early 80s, Ministry’s “Everyday is Halloween”.
If we’re talking Stone Roses then we need “I Want to Be Adored”.

February 28, 2014 at 9:07 pm in reply to: Feb 28, 2014 – The Cure 5-pack and School of Rock 3-pack #414864Awesome! The Cure’s one of my top bands of all time, can’t wait to play these tonight. Hopefully someone can import Fascination Street over from Guitar Hero: WOR someday too.

Thanks for the Beatles textures, going through them now, way awesome!
‘Good evening Pasadena!’Throw in Never Let Me Down Again too.
We have that song already, one of the 3 official releases. Or do you mean the live version from 101?

Seconded! Lots of DM is needed, Strangelove, Halo, Master & Servant, Question of Time, Everything Counts… I can on but you get the idea.

Hmm, I won’t say which ones. But I am working on at least 2 of these. Keep a lookout is all I’m saying” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Awesome!
Lots of good songs still not brought over. My personal wish list from these:
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Higher Ground
Dick Dale – Misirlou
Stray Cats – Rock This Town
Suicidal Tendencies – Institutionalized
Oingo Boingo – Only a Lad
Sex Pistols – Anarchy In The UK
Stone Roses – She Bangs the Drums
Top Gun Anthem
Love and Rockets – Mirror People
Weezer – Why Bother?
Kinks – All Day and All of the Night
Buzzcocks – What Do I Get?
Interpol – Slow Hands
The Cure – Fascination Street
Christopher Lee’s “A Heavy Metal Christmas” songs would be perfect for RB.
and
If you’re going for Canadian Content you need the group that named themselves for such thing: Kon Kan, and their Juno Award winning “I Beg Your Pardon”.

A few more requests I forgot to include before are:Alice in Chains – Them Bones
“Them Bones” is available from GHtoRB3.
There were a bunch of 80s (as well as late 70s) groups that we got in Rock Band after RB3 came out with the keyboard, particularly in the New Wave/Post-Punk genre, I had hoped it meant we would see more from those groups but outside of the initial releases for the most part we didn’t get much else. Then some groups such as Duran Duran came out way before RB3 that totally need keys and harmonies. Anyways, here’s a sort of dream list of songs I’d had hoped would come out for RB, hopefully some of them get customs someday:
The Cure – Boys Don’t Cry, Killing an Arab, In Between Days, The Hanging Garden
Depeche Mode – Everything Counts, Strangelove, Halo, Enjoy The Silence
Duran Duran – Save A Prayer, Planet Earth, The Reflex, New Moon On Monday
Echo and the Bunnymen – Lips Like Sugar, Ripeness, Bring On Dancing Horses, Seven Seas
Erasure – Chains of Love, Oh l’Amour, Who Needs Love Like That
A Flock of Seagulls – Space Age Love Song, Wishing
The Human League – Love Action (I Believe In Love), The Lebanon, Seconds
INXS – Original Sin, Devil Inside, New Sensation, Listen Like Thieves
Joy Division – Transmission, She’s Lost Control, Shadowplay, Dead Souls
Morrissey – Everyday Is Like Sunday, Suedehead, Interesting Drug, Last of The Famous Int’l Playboys
New Order – Dreams Never End, Age of Consent, Temptation, The Perfect Kiss, 1963
Oingo Boingo – Dead Man’s Party, Just Another Day, Little Girls
Siouxsie & The Banshees – Arabian Knights, Happy House, Christine, Spellbound
The Smiths – The Boy With The Thorn In His Side, Bigmouth Strikes Again, There is A Light That Never Goes Out
Soft Cell – Where Did Our Love Go?, Sex Dwarf
The Stone Roses – I Wanna Be Adored, She Bangs The Drum, Mersey Paradise
Tears For Fears – Mad World, Mother’s Talk, Pale Shelter
Cee Lo Green – F**k You (the original explicit version, not that pussified, “Forget You” Glee version)On the topic of clean vs. explicit, I have to wonder — is there enough interest out there to merit doubling up on releases and doing clean and explicit versions when such tracks exist (if we can get source tracks that line up tempo/chart-wise)?
I’d take a redone “Killing In The Name Of” with all 16 “F- you I won’t do what you tell me” and “motherf–ka!” added back in.
We got both songs individually, can we mash the vocals and charts somehow and make this?
Call Me a Hole:
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Higher Ground
