A lot of the stuff I’ve authored are my guilty pleasures lol

Newest Release! (4.13.2020)

The 1975 – “TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME”

YMrBMgJ.jpg

Here’s another great song from The 1975! It’s the absurdly named “TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME”. One of my very favourite songs from the band. It’s pretty simple in terms of charts, but it’s really catchy and the autotune is really fun to sing. I normally wouldn’t want to author keys and pro keys but I managed to find a great midi so it made it a breeze. And I also didn’t think I should even chart the song if I couldn’t chart keys so there you have it. Hope you enjoy!

I released “Aqua Profunda” a while back if you haven’t downloaded it already

Hey everybody! I thought it might be a good idea to revive this thread, as though the years my releases have been scattered all over the place and frankly, not very well organized outside of the C3 Database. So I’ve decided to put all of my authored stuff in this thread now where it belongs in the original post of the thread for ease of use, and I hope it helps in finding what you’re looking for from me.

This is also a good time to update and say that I don’t think I’m fully back into making more Rock Band customs, as I don’t really play the game all that often, but I sometimes do find enjoyment in Rock Band customs. Although at this time, I am not looking into doing any collaborations and am keeping it solo for now.

Any customs that I do release going forward are most likely going to be legacy instruments only (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals/Harmonies). The keyboard isn’t really played in my house/group, and I don’t really enjoy charting keys/pro keys anyways, so why waste time on something I won’t take advantage of, right? I hope you all understand. All releases going forward as well will probably be singles and whatever I have done I will automatically just upload instead of waiting for an appropriate pack to place them in as I did in the past.

Without further ado, here is my newest release! I hope you enjoy and are all staying safe in this time.

Newest Release! (4.8.2020)

The 1975 – “It’s Not Living (If It’s Not with You)

3FFVKYX.jpg

This song is from one a band I have been listening to a lot lately, The 1975. I think they really fit into Rock Band quite nicely and it’s a shame they don’t have more songs in the game yet. In fact, all the songs they have in Rock Band are right here on C3! It might be safe to say that I will want to work on more from them in the future so if you’re into that, then keep an eye out.

in reply to: Chart-a-thon Final Day, Final Release! C3 NYE Bash! #508837
Today is unfortunately the last day of Chart-a-Thon, and this decade. When I first heard about Chart-a-Thon going on until New Years Eve, I wanted to make a pack that featured some of my favourite songs from the decade. I was planning on including a lot more songs, but ultimately just ran out of time. But hopefully I can work on them some more and release them in the new year. In the meantime, here are some of my picks that I hope you’ll find useful for your Rock Band New Years Eve party!

Ariana Grande – “One Last Time” Authored by drummerockband
When I think back to rising artists in the 2010s, Ariana Grande no doubt comes to mind. She is a powerhouse vocalist, similar to the likes of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. She exploded onto 2010s Top 40 constantly with songs like this one. “One Last Time” peaked at 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014.

Ariana Grande – “Break Free (ft. Zedd)” Authored by drummerockband
Here’s another selection from “My Everything”, which I think is Ariana’s most iconic album if you ask me. I knew I couldn’t just do one song from the album. This song really solidified that Ariana Grande could make some awesome songs. With the help of German-Russian DJ Zedd, this song was a smash hit. In fact, this song just destroyed the Billboard Hot 100 when it peaked at 4! If you’ve turned on a pop radio station at all during and after 2014, you’ve probably heard this one. I highly recommend both Ariana Grande songs!

Zedd – “Clarity (ft. Foxes)” Authored by drummerockband
Before Zedd assisted Ariana on “Break Free”, he and British singer Foxes collaborated on the infectious “Clarity”. This is definitely one of my favourite songs of the decade. I was surprised that nobody has charted this before, considering how well known the song has become. The song won a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording at the 56th Grammy Awards, which was both Zedd and Foxes’ first Grammy win.

Ingrid Michaelson – “Girls Chase Boys” Authored by drummerockband
Now this one, while still a pretty big hit for Ingrid Michaelson, clearly isn’t as popular as the 3 songs above. But! It’s still catchy as hell and has a pretty laid back feel to it. This 2014 hit managed to peak at 52 on the Billboard Hot 100. If you don’t recognize the song by name, I recommend giving it a listen! It’s a really fun song.
And that’s a wrap for me with Chart-a-Thon! Please like always, if you enjoy the content, don’t forget to donate at http://chartathon.com! Also, have a Happy New Year!!

Well, it’s the day after Christmas (or Boxing Day, here in Canada) and while I hope you had a great one, the festivities don’t stop yet! Because I’ve got a few goodies for your New Year’s Eve Party! A 3-pack from the legendary Swedish Pop group, ABBA!
This is a special release for me because my grandmother passed away 1 year ago today. One of her very favourite artists was ABBA, so this pack is a tribute to her memory, as I know she would have been dancing to these songs for sure! I hope you like the songs I’ve picked out this time around, and I think I’ve got some tracks that everyone will like. Rock Band always needs more ABBA, right?!

ABBA – “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” Authored by drummerockband
When I think of ABBA songs that are still missing from Rock Band, this one was the first one that came to mind. The iconic strings/keys riff is enough to get people into the groove of the song. In fact, the riff was so good, that Madonna wanted it for her song, so she sampled it for her song “Hung Up”.
DjWsvMH.jpg
ABBA – “SOS” Authored by drummerockband
Here’s a rockin’ ABBA song that I thought always needed to have the full band treatment. Each instrument is super fun to play and harmonies are awesome all around.
QjDS8mM.jpg
ABBA – “Knowing Me, Knowing You” Authored by drummerockband
When I think of ABBA, this song always comes to mind. The chorus is infectious and super catchy. The harmonies again here are really quite a blast. The rest of the song is never a dull moment as well.
This isn’t the last you’ll see of me for Chart-a-Thon either! I have one more release after this one, so keep an eye out!
I hope you enjoy, and as always, don’t forget to donate at chartathon.com if you are liking the content so far!

I’m hoping to get some of The 1975 done after the new year, but I’m not sure when exactly I’ll do them but hopefully soon.

I have 3 of these done. Keep an eye out on Chart-a-Thon.

Hi everyone! Here is my final pack for Chart-a-Thon. If any of my songs released through this event caused you to donate, let me be the first to say thank you very much! Now, onto the good stuff…
Canadian law states that 35% of radio play must contain music from Canadian artists. So today, me, MrPrezident, grubextrapolate, Buster66, and ATrueJedi are fulfilling that. Well actually, ALL Chart-a-Thon content today is straight from Canadian artists! 100% Canadian! But I’m up first, so here are my selections.

Alvvays – “In Undertow” Authored by drummerockband
Alvvays has been such a surprise for me in terms of finding new artists this decade. I absolutely fell in love with them when I first heard them. I had the privilege of seeing them live in 2018 and it was one of my favourite concerts I’ve ever been to. And for my fellow Alvvays fans, here is more Alvvays like I promised. Sorry it took so long! All 3 of these songs are from their second outing called Antisocialites. Here is the first track from the album, one that’ll get you hooked on Alvvays if you haven’t heard them before!
xFOe2C4.jpg
Alvvays – “Dreams Tonite” Authored by drummerockband
Here’s the second track from Antisocialites. The song non-Alvvays fans probably heard in an “Indie Rock Jams” playlist on Spotify or something like that. This is by far the Alvvays song I’ve had the most requests for, so I’m happy to have it done finally.
fq0skSf.jpg
Alvvays – “Not My Baby” Authored by drummerockband
If you’re thinking “didn’t he release this already?” Yes, yes I have. But now it has pro keys, and it didn’t before! A couple tweaks here and there as well and with the brand new pro keys track, I recommend upgrading! The song uses a new song ID just because I had changed quite a few things so just make sure you delete the old version if you downloaded it previously.

Felix Cartal & Lights – “Love Me” Authored by drummerockband
Alvvays not your thing? That’s cool, maybe this will be. This is a song that I just completely fell in love with from the first time I heard it. It features lyrics and vocals from Canadian singer Lights, and instrumentals from Canadian DJ Felix Cartal. It became such a huge hit for both of them, and at least in my neck of the woods, it’s on the radio daily. Both of them were pretty shocked and surprised to see it do so well on the charts. It’s one of my favourite songs of 2019, and I hope you’ll enjoy it too!

Carly Rae Jepsen – “Now That I Found You” Authored by drummerockband
It should be no secret that at this point, I love Carly Rae Jepsen. Like, A LOT. I saw her on the Dedicated tour in September and had front row seats, it was amazing! So I knew I had to author some stuff from Dedicated! Here’s the extremely catchy “Now That I Found You”. You may have heard this song play on those Peloton commercials you see lately (BUT I LOVED THIS SONG BEFORE THAT COMMERCIAL OKAY?!)
qgeqczA.jpg
Carly Rae Jepsen – “Run Away With Me” Authored by drummerockband
Ah yes, the song that convinced many people Carly Rae Jepsen was much more than just the “Call Me Maybe” girl. This song, as well as the whole E•MO•TION album, made people take Carly Rae Jepsen seriously as a musician and not just a one hit wonder. This first track on the album, “Run Away With Me”, hits you with that iconic saxophone right off the bat, and then from there you are hooked in for the rest of the incredible album.

Up next, is grubextrapolate, Buster66 and ATrueJedi with more from the Great White North! One of the tracks includes a punk medley!
