One thing I’d be wary of is the MIDI you’re extracting with ConTools likely already accounts for the first two measures and should be placed at 1.1. If that’s the case, than the extra two measures you’re adding could throw off required text events, causing the freeze.

Great thanks for this… – but my voice will load in the game…
The dry vox track that you load with Magma won’t be audible in-game. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, I don’t think it’s even contained in the CON file; it’s just used at compile time to generate lip sync.

I have the same idea as Prez. Just let them get copyright claimed, and that will just allow the copyright owner to monetize instead of you.
I did have one song get blocked worldwide, so that custom just doesn’t have a video preview.
If you’re worried about copyright STRIKES where your YouTube account can get banned, I’d just use a separate account dedicated to video previews.
I can hit a Necrophagist growl for like 10 seconds before my throat is jacked and I’m chugging water for the rest of the day.
What’s the fun in that? I don’t sing just to hum consistent tones until I finish the song. It’s like asking why bother making any instruments more than zero dots because you can just get a bot to play it for you.
As far as actually tiering them sometimes you come across a song that takes more than just pitch to do well in. I would not consider a song like “Rap God” to be a zero dot song…if I’m actually singing, that is. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
This is a topic I’ve thought about a lot. Not even just rap, all death metal is 0 dots, but can you actually sing like that? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
I feel like the difficulty of certain songs when you’re trying to be authentic isn’t done justice by the “talkies are 0 dots” rating system, HOWEVER, I think it’s way too big a can of worms to get into the even more subjective debate about how to go about scoring them differently.
