ParticipantAlright, honest question: why not just remove the 1/2 star ratings altogether? If it’s so egregious to post negative feedback that you have to publicly shame users, threaten them with suspensions, and then force them to make a case for every negative rating, then why not just ask people to send you a PM if they encounter a broken/low quality custom. With this kind of pointless persecution, I guarantee you nobody is going to bother with star ratings anymore anyways. Absolutely ridiculous.

ParticipantIt’s awesome to see so much Ween, so thank you. I played Mr. Richard Smoker, and the charts I tried (guitar & keys) definitely need some revision as well as the tempo map. If you need someone to help with playtesting I’m happy to take a look if you want, just PM me.

ParticipantYou need to SERIOUSLY go back and check out your vocals chart in practice mode, with guide pitch. That’s probably the quickest way to see how off it is because there are several sections where the charted note does not match up with what he’s singing at all.

ParticipantI seriously want to give bearz a huge round of applause for Cassandra Gemini. I was blown away when I saw that on the release list.Seconding this. That came out of nowhere, man. Even Jarod turned me down when I suggested the song and he’s crazy enough to chart anything.

If you make that strumming into strum lanes, then because of the way lanes work you can stop one note early before the trills. This should make it actually possible to get into some sort of ready position for them and would make the transition a bit less harsh.
Also I’d strongly recommend keeping the pattern that starts at 3:18 as is. It’s much less awkward to move from GYB to RYB than from GRB to GYB, especially if you use your first three fingers for GYB and just slide up to R when you need to.

ParticipantI’d recommend doing something about the trill lanes in soundscape 3A. Trill lanes are difficult to start and sometimes to stop, and having a bunch of short ones in succession is a cheap combo break. There’s no reason to have trill lanes 3-4 notes in length. I’d recommend taking them out altogether for 3A.
Otherwise, the song was synced well and I didn’t notice any issues with timing playing through it. I’ll play through keytar in a bit.
Edit: Same trill lane complaint for the ones in Soundscape 2C on legacy keys. The lanes there should be removed for playability.

ParticipantSince it’s a playtesting thread, seeing the actual chart would be a good way to give feedback.
I was referring to an older version that was mentioned but wasn’t uploaded anywhere.
I reduced 5-lane as well as pro because there are people who play 5-lane with the keyboard accessory, and it would be impossible to FC the song with it due to the original having a few 32nds notes of the same colour.
Oh, if it’s just removing some same color notes in quick succession then yeah that makes enough sense. The solo doesn’t feel significantly dumbed down on reg keys, I was just curious about what was undercharted.

ParticipantGlad to see this one is being resurrected. I understand undercharting for playability on pro keys but does it need to be reduced on standard too? Without seeing a chart I couldn’t really know if it was reasonable or not, but I know there’s a lot more leeway in the engine for regular keys than pro keys.
