10,000 Days… Both the amount of time until Tool’s next album, and also the amout of time it feels I’ve put into those customs! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> ​It’s a labor of love however, as 10,000 Days is easily my favorite Tool album, by a mile and a half. The songs are incredibly special to me. If I could only author a few songs, it would be these!

 

This update is the one you guys definitely deserve. I’m so sorry that they’ve been riddled with errors in the past. I finally got to a place where I’m very happy with them. They’ll continue to receive updates however! (Wings needs a custom venue, for instance.)

 

A huge thanks to Oscarj08 for assisting in fixing the drum tracks on both “Right in Two” and “The Pot”. Please give him a thank you/round of applause. He absolutely nailed the tabla solo. You’re the man, Oscar!

 

Also, thanks to BobQuentok for nudging me to do 10,000 Days (Wings Pt 2). Without his motivation, we likely wouldn’t have the custom! He also provided some suggestions to guitar and bass. Thank you sir.

I would just like to say thank you so much for the hard work you have obviously put into charting my favourite band into one of my favourite games. I immediately downloaded all of these 311 customs the second I got it working on my xbox. (which was very recently).

 

I eagerly await your next batch of customs for this band. To be honest there really isn’t anything I wouldn’t download by 311.

Right In Two… Initially, I never liked the song. Something was wrong with me, it’s now one of my absolute favorites! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I’m releasing it early for a few reasons, namely because of the ridiculous amount of time it took!(Some of that was research to try and catch a glimpse as to what the **** Danny was doing.) It took longer than Rosetta Stoned for goodness sakes! Drummers, enjoy the tabla solo, and get ready for when it picks up, because it smokes! I had an absolute blast playing it and I hope you will too! Anyways, the custom has left hand animations and my first attempt at custom venue work with lighting. Let me know if you think I completely butchered it, nailed it, or hit somewhere in the middle!

 

Still plenty of Tool coming this week and weekend, including 4 new songs, upgrades and fixes to all existing Tool I’ve released (major enough for me to question what in the frick I was doing the first time around ) and polishings to other existing Tool customs.

My only lead for “Prison Sex” thus far is an sa_nick over at fof who whipped up at least the drum chart. And haha, I forgot about the Drums only “Aenema” by Anayalata. Since you are updating/upgrading/polishing/whatever existing Tool customs, will you also look over the GHtoRB Tool songs? The cymbals in the intro of Vicarious aren’t charted, for example. Also the hihats in all three songs seem a bit weird.
