Melodyne’s midi output on its own is basically useless for RB purposes. It’s almost impossible to run any audio source through it without it missing notes or displaying notes that aren’t there. The program’s pitch display alone might give you a decent jumping off point for stuff like pro keys and vocals, but that’s about it.
I keep mine locked.
