Wow, Firefox’s spell checker does not like that paragraph.
We’ve also got 24 new Rock Band Harmonies Project upgrades today, including Rock Band’s existing Norwegian acts — Turbonegro, Emperor, more Dimmu Borgir — and many more, including Paramore, Nirvana, “Godzilla” (to play before you go watch the new movie), and a ton of hard rock and metal! Check out the full list of upgrades at the end of this post, and visit the RBHP project site to download them.

Why should you download these songs?

  • “Kings of the Carnival Creation” – “Loads of variation and challenge all around,” says Nightmare Lyra, “with 4 guitar solos, orchestral keys and what might be the most challenging drum chart in the C3 database to date.”
  • “Splitter Pine” – You can’t have a Norway pack without the DumDum Boys, one of the most popular acts within Norway itself. Nightmare Lyra says, “Hard rocking riffs, great bass and drum grooves, soaring held vocal notes and varried rock organ keys makes this a great track to play on everything. Also don’t worry if you don’t understand the lyrics, neither do most Norwegians.”
  • “Substitute” – Lowlander asks, “Remember this song and its kooky music video from The Darkness? The game, not the band. Features a very fun vocal line, even if the lyrics are completely random.”
  • “In the Hall of the Mountain King” – Another of C3 author Nightmare Lyra’s original compositions, which means it’s Norwegian music to the core. NL says, “Cover of the classical piece we all know and love, with crazy and varied drums, and the iconic riff in many different forms across the instruments.”
  • “Poor Leno” – Relax after “Mountain King” with this downtempo electronica piece by Röyksopp. Author BearzUnlimited calls it a “cool, relaxed song with a fun drum rhythm”.
  • “Fisheye” – Possibly one of the most unique genre hybrids to be found in Rock Band. This metal/jazz mashup might sound odd at first, but the main hook will stick in your head and the keys part will leave your fingers burning.
  • “The Fox” – An honorary late addition to our Internet Then and Now pack, I think it is physically impossible to have not heard this song in the last few years. What does the Drake say? “Dietcoke, dietcoke, dietcoke…”

  1. Hey guys, for the first time I’m having some trouble loading a song onto my flash drive to bring it over to my Xbox. Never had this problem before, but with The Fox, Modio says it is injecting it, but it doesn’t show up (In Modio, or the Xbox), and Party Buffalo says it is being used by another program. I’ve restarted, logged off, everything, but just The Fox will not work. Help if you’ve got an idea?

    1. Worked for me so that is odd indeed. The first thing I would do though is to redownload the CON file to make sure nothing broke during download and then renaming the CON to a completely different name, that might work
