C3 releases for March 20, 2015:

A red X denotes Pro Guitar/Pro Bass charts, a blue M denotes full multitracks, a blue K denotes a “karaoke” multitrack (separated vocals), and a rusty 2x denotes that a 2x Bass Pedal version is also available. FtV denotes a song previously released by a C3 author outside of C3.

Just like official DLC, it’s not every day that you see the third (“03”) iteration of a particular pack. This is C3’s first “03”, in fact, and we’re happy to present this third batch of cover songs! Technically, unless you’re Geddy Lee or whomever actually playing the game, everything you play in Rock Band is a cover. Chew on that for a while.
Authors’ comments for this week’s releases:

• “Summer” – Arcanon says, “Death Come Cover Me is back with a more metal take on Calvin Harris’s hit ‘Summer.’ Expect heavy drums and a very diverse keys part.”
• “Only You” – farottone says, “This amazing cover of the original Yazoo hit is also the ‘one’ in one hit wonder The Flying Pickets. This is also our first ever all instruments vocal song: all parts of this cover song have been recorded on vocals, including percussions. If you love singing you need to get this one!”
• “Simple Man” – DVDSmith says, “Originally just a bonus track on Shinedown’s first album, this cover of the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic quickly took on a life of its own, mainly thanks to Brent Smith’s amazing vocal performance. It’s now a staple of every Shinedown concert, and inspired the band to record an entire EP of acoustic covers in 2013.”
• “Fuck You” – GreenPanda12 says, “A personal favourite of mine from this album. Great cover of this song plus that double bass will keep you drummers on your toes, and a pretty tricky guitar solo even though it only lasts 10 seconds. 😉 And remember guys and gals if someone pisses you off, just sing them this song. XD”
