Another beautiful rainbow of songs for you this week! Whoa, that’s a full rainbow of singles all the way. Five singles, oh my god. It’s five singles, all the way. Whoa that’s so intense. Whoa man! Wow! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa ho ho oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Woo! Oh wow! Woo! Yeah! Oh ho ho! Oh my god! Oh my god look at that! It’s starting even to look like eight singles! Oh my god it’s full on! Five singles all the way across the blog post! Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh god. What does this mean? Oh. Oh my god. Oh. Oh. God. They’re so diverse, oh my god they’re so diverse and awesome! Oh. Ah! Ah! They’re so beautiful! Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god! Oh my god, it’s five complete songs! Oh right in my RSS feed. Oh my god. Oh my god, what does it mean? Tell me. Too much. I don’t know what it means. Oh my god it’s so intense. Oh. Oh. Oh my god.
Two Avicii songs from espher this week to fuel your electronic music addiction; one new and one From the Vault. “I Could Be the One” is your typical modern house number, featuring soft vocal-heavy sections (with awesome harmonies) and crazier dancey parts (with some awesome “HOPOcoasters”). “Levels” is more of a straightforward dance song, with blaring synths and a driving beat. If your Rock Band isn’t enough of a Dance/Trance/House/Electronica Band, these are your songs!
thewinnerisgeeg submits his first C3 song this week, from a band that’s popular among many diehard Rock Band fans: Between the Buried and Me. “Telos” will be the seventh Rock Band excursion for BtBaM, but the first from their album The Parallax II. Don’t let the preview video deceive you! This song is almost 10 minutes long, and features just as many crazy technical parts as you may have come to expect.
Also new to C3 this week is DVDSmith, with two songs that would have been tricky to release as legit DLC. Sonic fans will recognize both “Live & Learn” and “Won’t Stop, Just Go!” from Sonic Adventure 2, the latter as the soundtrack for Green Forest. (Don’t remember that level? It’s the jungle-y Sonic level with lots of vertical spring climbing, and that part at the end where the level is falling apart.) Many RB forumgoers have pleaded for Crush 40 over the years, and the Green Forest theme is an excellent example of the SA2 OST’s catchy guitar lines. Take a break from grinding your Chao’s stats and download these!
Finally (for our new songs), TrojanNemo brings in a big name with The Fray’s “How to Save a Life”, and two FtV songs in a similar musical vein. If you’ve ever watched a sad scene in a medical TV show, you’ve definitely heard “How to Save a Life”. The other two songs are also slow ballads, but may take a little longer to recognize. Jet, normally known for upbeat songs like “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”, brings it way down with “Look What You’ve Done”. Michael Bublé, however, will be less of a surprise — “Everything” is a love song in the style of his biggest hit, “Haven’t Met You Yet”. Actually, maybe it’s just me that hadn’t heard “Everything” before? It’s a certified platinum single!
ACTUALLY finally, we’ve got RBHP upgrades this week, too! It’s a big list. Check the end of this post for full details, or visit the RBHP site.
As usual, we encourage you to check out our forums to get involved with the RB customs scene. If you don’t see your favorite songs, you can author them yourself!
See you next Friday!

Wow another great week! Love the diversity and the updated vault songs. Also great to see the pro guitar songs as I am trying to get past medium, so I need all the practice I can get.
Special thanks to columbo777 for the pro guitar on “This Charming Man”, the CD “Hatful of Hollow” is one of my favorite CDs of all time!!!
Thanks again for busting out these songs. I especially like the Sonic Adventure 2 one.
thanks for another week of dlc. particular likes are the fray and buble. popular songs are always go down well.
Nothing for me really, but I remain optimistic that there will be something eventually. Very appreciative of everything that has been done & that songs will continue to made, charted & released. So, thank you guys for the keeping the game fresh, fun, & alive.
Any new tracks at all is always good news! The last few weeks have had some great selections but nothing for my tastes this week. Still holding out hope that someone will eventually release some Prince, or maybe something along the lines of Ryan Adams or the Avett Brothers.
