Well if rockband is still around id like to tackle some wilco and the decemberists but I think weezer should keep me busy thru the holidays. I really hope to go back touch up every song because I like things to be accurate and I’m constantly learning new tricks (CAT) and methods. I’m concerned about the cymbal stuff and I’m looking to re-evaluate my current drum set up as I know the green and blue cymbal are backwards.
Hopefully in the end we will have most of the weezer collection including bsides and even some live stuff (reverb concert). I’d say we’re not even close to done. I’ve only uploaded MAYBE half of what I have ready not including the blue album. Honestly I’m just happy guys like you enjoy playing/listening to weezer and your appreciation is well, appreciated.
September 20, 2014 at 12:08 am #429534Well if rockband is still around id like to tackle some wilco and the decemberists‘Scuse me, I have to clean up this massive puddle of drool.
And yeah, cymbal fixes would be cool, but in due time.
September 20, 2014 at 12:33 am #429536Definitely giving me a run for my money. Always nice to see other people dedicated to a band. I only know the Weezer songs that were already in the game, but I’ll have to give some of yours a shot. Any recommendations as far as fun charts go?Wow thank you funky. As far as what is fun? Hmmmmm. That’s so tough as I truly beleive they are all fun. Really depends what instrument you like to play. For drums, IJTOTLOMD, any of the new stuff (the album with the monster on it), pink triangle is great too. For Guitar I really believe they are all charted to be fun. I guess with weezer songs it’s more about the music for me. Just another excuse to listen. Keep checking back funky. There’s a lot more on the way
September 20, 2014 at 5:28 am #429558best thread ever.
September 20, 2014 at 9:06 am #429564Hey dude! Just had a great time playing a ‘Weezer: Rock Band endless setlist’ to the tracks you’ve released so far and they’re really great! My only gripe is with the drums on Photograph, the notes seem to be ever so slightly out of time to the song and ends up with mostly misses, I think the .wav might be very slightly off? Worth checking out. Otherwise, it was awesome and I’m looking forward to more.
September 20, 2014 at 12:00 pm #429569Oreo glad you’re enjoying the songs. I will fire it up and try out photograph today. Thanks for the feedback.
September 20, 2014 at 12:19 pm #429570even though it’s early here I just fired up photograph and it seemed very accurate. scored a 99 expert on guitar, what difficulty were you playing? I’ll look through the tempo map on monday when I get back to the computer. Thanks again for the feedback.

The chart was a teeny bit later than the song.
September 22, 2014 at 8:06 am #429700I’ll check the drums again but if you play most my songs I use the green cymbal for the ride and use both green and blue for crashes interchangeably. My reason is I have a full drum kit with a hi-hat pedal and when I play with my cymbal locations it makes sense. I know it’s not for everyone but it works for my kit. I tried to do it the other way around but it really gets messed up because the blue cymbal is also the open hi-hat or my kit.Sad thing is this is how I have it written for all my weezer custom songs. If I ever find a better way to setup my kit I can change it. I’ll experiment at home this weekend and try to figure out a better solution that works for everyone. I was wondering when this was going to be brought up but I never heard anyone having any issues so Ive kept it as green=ride/crash and blue=crash/open hh
You don’t have to excuse for doing the Weezer songs like they work the best way for you and your equipment! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
I just wondered if only me felt the wrong way or there would be anybody else do. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
I don’t know which drum set you are using but probably it makes sense to talk about it.
I use a strongly modified ION DrumRocker and I use a pedal for open/close (blue ride/yellow) the HiHat as well.
And I don’t use the original ION brain module because it produces lots of missing notes and you cannot customize it.
I don’t have in mind how my drum brain is named but if you are interested just let me know and I’ll have a look. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
September 22, 2014 at 8:18 am #429701I also felt like Photograph was off on X pro drums. The chart was a teeny bit later than the song.
Yes, I can confirm that on Photograph. Seems to be not exactly synchronic to me.
September 22, 2014 at 1:57 pm #429709Ok guys, I can’t figure this out. Photograph is giving me a huge headache and I need some assistance. Can you please tell me which version of Photograph is giving issues? Is it the latest version I put up on 9/19 or are you guys playing C16’s version with EMHX. The reason I ask is this is the ONLY song that I used a FLAC file for the main audio and not the MP3 version. I do not know the process of how C16 does it but if the FLAC file is used when I compile it then C16 uses his MP3 version when he re-compiles it could get a little off? Not sure but I need to figure out where to start. Thanks!
September 22, 2014 at 3:36 pm #429711I only changed the midi, I didn’t touch anything else, not even the audio.
September 22, 2014 at 3:45 pm #429712thanks C16. Does not make sense. I can get 100% here and there are no tempo issues but why are others having issues. I’ve checked and redone the tempo map over 5 times now and still pretty much the same tempo. What bothers me is it is as straight and easy a song to map. ~125bpm 4/4 time down beat is distinct and the peaks all line up along with the sound. Metronome down beat falls on the first kick drum perfectly. I don’t know what it can be.
If someone can try the other instruments and see if it feels good then I know there’s something wrong with the drum track otherwise if it’s all instruments (which I hope it is) then I know it’s simply a tempo map issue.
September 22, 2014 at 5:54 pm #429716For those having issues with Photograph expert drums, please download again 9/22/2014 BETA. I have completely redone the song with a different version (.mp3 not FLAC). Hope this solves the issue. Please report back if better, worse or the same. Thank you!
September 22, 2014 at 5:56 pm #4297179/22/2014. All songs have been corrected for BLUE RIDE, GREEN CRASH cymbal. I’ve re-thought my drum setup and corrected the songs with the correct cymbal colors. Thanks again for your feedback.
