I have inadvertantly managed to almost mute the ‘helpful’ synthesized pitch/note to help with vocals authoring. I have tweaked the volume controls on the Vocals track and also checked the settings for VSTI:ReaSynth and these compare with another project that is not demonstrating the same problem, so any ideas what I have done here… and how to corretc please ?
Happens to me all the time – the ReaSynth VOLUME gets set to something puny like -42dB. I know you said you checked the settings, but that’s what is in my case.
I had checked that , it was set to -6.0 so I set to +12 – the maximum, and it has made no difference…
Another bizarre thing I have noted… with ReaSynth switched on, if I MUTE the Song Audio track the vocals notes I have authored, are now no longer audible.
Yet, I can just about hear them when I mouse click the note in the editor window…..

You have probably grouped the MIDI track with the audio track.
Worked out what this was, after some time I might add… there is a (only marginally) visible red line named ‘velocity’ in the Part Vocals track that for some strange reason (I hadnt knowingly changed it), was at the bottom of the Part Vocal track in the MIDI editor. I simply dragged this line from the bottom to the top of the track. Sorted.
