Sorry to hear the news, but totally understandable. It was great whilst it last, like I said I came here when DLC finished, I will go back to official DLC once it is back but I will always have my 360 for the customs.

 

Also comment regarding their customs, whilst I hope it came off worse than intended. I appreciate every single custom maker here C3 or not, I know how much hard work it takes, especially vocals….lord I hate vocals.

 

Thing is, I will only download full bands with all difficulties, so with C3 going my customs will drop considerably as there are only a few authors who do FB all difficulties.

 

But ladies and gentleman, we have Rock Band 4 and that’s a good thing!

It seems like everytime I get into something, I’m always near the end. I finally get rockband 3, DLC stops comming out about a month later. It wasn’t until a few months or so I found this site, and fell in love. New songs that Harmonix wouldn’t release PLUS tools and support to make my own? Sign me up! I’ve only just started putting stuff up to share and now it’s going to slow down here. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that Harmonix is comming back and I will be supporting them, but I will be missing the things that you guys bring out every week. That’s a mighty shame, though understandable. Hopefully you’ll be able to release the occasional pack of stuff Harmonix either can’t or won’t do, and then make a return when they stop doing dlc again.

 

As I said, we are also currently working on something that should be very good for customs authors everywhere, so when we say that weekly releases are going to stop we mean C3 weekly releases.

 

This about sums up my feelings and thoughts on this announcement. While it makes me sad, a huge thank you from all of us that neither have the time or skill to do what you all do for us. Thank you so much and I know this is not “the end”.

This x 1000. That is one thing I loved about C3 and what drew me to their website every week to check out their releases. The quality just can’t be beat!

yeah i think i worded that wrong, i appologise im not too good with words,

but YES i know that c3 authors are dedicated and amazing people, what i was trying to say was “i will as many will continue to make customs” i wasnt saying that c3 authors etc were not dedicated, im really not good with words/writing, anyways i didnt mean any offence, but what i ment about the monopoly thingy, is that people assume that C3 is the only place to go for rockband custom content, when frets on fire/ Xbox360iso / FrenchOnFire do this too as well as a few others, there will always be rockband custom dlc.

After that comment yesterday I dug up my old account and checked it out. There’s like 2-3 RB3 threads in the first or second page, but barely active. One of them was asking why the keepitfishy.com links weren’t working anymore

I mean, I don’t mind people staying in those forums…I just hope they’re not only on those forums, because they’re missing out.
