I see nobody is even taking a crack at my songs’ hint. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

A piano-centric pack for a classic band from Europe that was forced to change vocalist.

      GENESIS!

Fortunately for them AND for the singer, they were not *forced* to change vocalist.

I should of done more research on them. All I really know is that Phil Collins replaced Peter Gabriel. I sure am baffled by this hint. Trying to think of a classic rock band with lots of piano who’s original singer died thus making them forced to find a new vocalist.

Boy, this difficulty in pinpointing the band is gonna be embarassing when you see the pack. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”>

Oh the suspense. I’m trying to figure it out but google is not helping. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />

              * A pack from a modern American band that has had several songs released as RB content, including one song twice. Depressingly, this fits a number of artists.

Really hoping this is Pearl Jam, although yeah, Shinedown does seem to be the most likely.

This almost certainly has to be Queen.

I’m with the other guy who said “Paint It, Black”. (Richards himself said the comma was added by Decca.) Though I kinda wish the version done by Gob from Stir of Echoes would follow behind it. ^^ Wonder if it qualifies as a CanCon. :haw:

For the piano pack, I wanna say Black Sabbath for some reason since they were quite forced to find a new vocalist. They have a guy on keyboard currently, but I just don’t really see any solid connection. And while I consider Sabbath to be ‘classic’, I’m not so sure if it’s in the same context you were using it as. =/

And I wouldn’t dare even argue if it was Queen, which sounds a lot more likely than my guess at Sabbath. But we’ve had so many songs by Queen as official DLC that I didn’t even think to surmise them.

Now that its mentioned, queen does seem like an obvious choice. Although I’m not sure what songs they would be.

Queen did cross my mind when I was researching but didnt actually believe it would happen due to the vast amount of songs we already have from them. :raise:

These should all be pretty apparent now, but here are the details:

                  * A pack from a modern American band that has had several songs released as RB content, including one song twice. Depressingly, this fits a number of artists.

                  * A piano-centric pack for a classic band from Europe that was forced to change vocalist.

                  * This British quartet’s single underwent a significant if often overlooked title change at their label’s hand. It was also featured in a plastic instrument game, previously.

                  * The highest charting single from an American pop rock band who saw their second highest charting single released as official DLC.

                  * This single, no doubt to the frustration of Alice Cooper, was one of several to quickly climb into the top three of the American rock music charts. It also has a name that seems like it would be far more suited to a crappy horror film or an adventure game. *checks Wikipedia* Oh. Both.

                  1. This was indeed Shinedown, and the referenced song was indeed Diamond Eyes.

                  2. Queen, of course.

                  3. “Paint It, Black” is track that fits this one. The odd use of a comma in the final sentence was another tease.

                  4. Train’s “Drops of Jupiter” was their second highest charter, which we got as DLC.

                  5. The topical Alice Cooper reference was indeed a hint for Mumford & Sons, as Alice Cooper does not feel they are a “rock and roll” band (and I agree with him), even though they’re very good at what they do (and I agree with him). “The Cave” is also the title of a crappy horror film and a Double Fine adventure game.

Title change, hm. “Paint it, Black”?

Cool, got one! No doubt your hints are getting easier <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

                    Yes.

Schedule was not entirely finalized, to be honest, so I hadn’t put anything together, but I’ll get something up for tonight.
