This project aims at releasing the complete Beatles discography, full band. Anybody is welcome to contribute, but these will be the rules everyone contributing will be asked to follow:
1) Quality of releases will be C3 levels, which means songs will need all C3 requirements and only those. For those who are not aware of C3 requirements because they are independent authors we will either take care of polishing the charts up or instructing them on how to do it depending on volume of work.
2) Contributions, WIPs and final CONs will not be shared to the public until we are ready to release according to the schedule we will set for ourselves. That means that no single song will be released individually if we decide to release full albums only and no albums will be released individually if we decide to release the entire discopgraphy at once.
3) “Claims” are timed: if you claim some part of this project to work on, we will be very happy, but it will be good for 30 days. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> After that time we can decide to give you more time but by default your claim will be dropped and anybody else can work on it. Please understand that this is necessary to keep a solid schedule. It’s nothing personal, see point 6.
4) Contributions are subject to vetting. We can not guarantee all you do will be used, it’s conditional to how well it’s done, how much time we would need to fix it, etc. We will work hard to fix your content if it needs fixing but please know that we might say “thank you very much but we can’t use it” in some cases. It’s nothing personal, see point 6.
5) Your contributions are final. If a girl named Yoko tells you you’re too good for this project, all you’ve delivered will belong to the project and will be used (with proper crediting of course). Please understand that no exception will be made: if you commit to release something and deliver it, you can’t take it back. It’s nothing personal, see point 6.
6) No one is greater than the project. Once we commit to this, our objective is to release the discography. If you feel like your contributions will be more important than the final objective please don’t contribute.
For more information stay tuned, for now this is a quick placeholder to let people post in the right place, after End of Days we will revisit everything.

September 27, 2015 at 2:35 pm #456051As some people might be aware, I’ve stopped doing customs for now as I don’t have the time to do them. However, this is a project that interests me hugely – I’m hopeful that I might be able to contribute something, even if it’s just a part or two for the occasional song, so I’ll be keeping a keen eye on this ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
September 27, 2015 at 2:39 pm #456052Well…hot damn.
farottone…can you detail the exact scope of what “complete Beatles discography” means in this instance? Are we talking studio albums/singles, are Anthologies or live tracks fair game, etc.?
Or is everything “flexible” based on interest level?
September 27, 2015 at 2:49 pm #456054Studio albums (UK releases, not American, the original ones), plus probably the singles. First we need a good spreadsheet anyway with everything listed.
September 27, 2015 at 2:54 pm #456055well i actually think that the spreadsheet done by erniewan is very nice ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
September 27, 2015 at 3:21 pm #456058Yes but we need a list of singles I think and there was another spreadsheet done from another user who might get involved and help out.
September 27, 2015 at 4:34 pm #456064you guys should do LOVE (the remix album), that would be interesting to play.
September 27, 2015 at 7:11 pm #456073I’m already intrigued by the project ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
September 27, 2015 at 7:14 pm #456074Wow, this is unexpected. But I’m looking forward to it nonetheless!
September 27, 2015 at 7:23 pm #456075are you guys gonna do some solo albums too (Plastic Ono Band, Ram All Things Must Pass,Ringo, etc)?
September 27, 2015 at 7:26 pm #456076No, it’s The Beatles. It’s a pretty lofty goal as it is, individual members’ material is outside the scope of the project. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
September 27, 2015 at 7:48 pm #456080There are certainly some songs The Beatles Rock Band didn’t cover that I can’t wait to see from this collective.
September 27, 2015 at 8:28 pm #456084I’m sure someone’s already noticed this, but I thought it might be worth mentioning that the C3 release of “Across the Universe is actually the version from Let It Be… Naked. Technically, it’s not really part of the Beatles’ core catalog.
If the goal of this project is the complete core catalog then there would be a total of 217 songs (not including medleys). I guess for the sake of completeness “Free As a Bird”, “Real Love” and “Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows” can be added as a bonus, bringing that number to 220. Adding the medleys from The Beatles: Rock Band, The total number of songs in this project would be 225.
If my math is correct, then 57 songs already have all possible instruments charted (assuming my list of songs with keys is 100% correct) and they are either completely finished or need minor tweaks, leaving 168 songs that need anywhere between 1-5 instruments to be charted.
September 27, 2015 at 9:52 pm #456091is Orange Harrison still workingon songs?
