I’m surprised nothing from KIDS SEE GHOSTS has been charted. I ought to change that.

OK, I hope this isn’t too much, and there is some seriously awesome rock that has been uploaded (in the past week alone, holy shit Marque Moon and Michael McDonald Doobies!), but here is some more stuff I’m surprised hasn’t been done that I’d like to see (some of which has already been mentioned):

There’s very little Van Morrison, great choices being:

Van Morrison – Caravan (my god this would be incredible)

Van Morrison – Into the Mystic (see above)

    Van Morrison – Madame George

    Van Morrison – Ballerina

    Van Morrison – Cypress Avenue

Van Morison – Listen to the Lion

    Van Morrison – Tupelo Honey

Van Morrison – And It Stoned Me

    Van Morrison – Crazy Love

This is country more than rock I suppose but I’m surprised there’s no Waylon Jennings (besides the Highwaymen stuff):

    Waylon Jennings – Waymore Blues

Waylon Jennings – Are you sure Hank done it this way?

Waylon Jennings – Drinking and Dreaming

Waylon Jennings – Dreaming my Dreams With You

Waylon Jennings – I’ve Always Been Crazy

    Waylon Jennings – Luckenbach Texas
    Waylon Jennings – I’m A Ramblin’ Man
    Waylon Jennings – This Time

There’s a lot of good Bruce (thanks guys!), but I’d love to see:

Bruce Springsteen – Backstreets (full band)

Bruce Springsteen – Tenth Avenue Freeze out (full band)

Bruce Springsteen – Jungleland (full band)

Others that would seem like popular choices:

Marshall Tucker Band – Can’t You See

    Joe Cocker – Feelin’ Alright

    Rolling Stones – Tumbling Dice

    Rolling Stones – Sweet Virginia

Bob Dylan – Lay Lady Lay

The Chi-lites – Have You Seen Her

    Pure Prairie League – Amy

    Rod Stewart – Maggie May

    Jeff Beck W/Rod Stewart – I Ain’t Superstitious

Al Green – I’m So Tired of Being Alone

Al Green – How Can You Mend A Broken Heart

Anyway sorry for the rambling list here, but I think there’s a lot there with wide popular appeal.

One thing that came to my mind recently is, since we ARE allowed to chart LIVE versions of songs that have been officially released in their STUDIO version (or viceversa), it’s a bit surprising that this is very rarely done, particularly for songs that can’t be bought for RB3 anyway (retired DLCs and RB4 songs).

Since we have vast selection of Phil Collins in DB and this one was featured in GTA V it really surprises me ‘I Don’t Care Anymore’ wasn’t charted yet

Bob Dylan – Lay Lady Lay; Like A Rolling Stone; Rainy Day Women #12 & 35

The reason nobody’s charting Dylan is that his vocals are an absolute nightmare to do lol

I love Dylan but the idea of doing one of his vocal charts terrify me.

You have the right idea…those are great picks, each and every track.

Probably should check out the latest Chartathon release (we’ll get to Jungleland someday don’t worry).

Should note that Moody Blues – Your Wildest Dreams and Tuesday Afternoon have been tackled today as well, finally

Surprised to see no “Air Supply” tracks. Such huge hitmakers.

For those asking on Dylan, I actually would be interested in doing some stuff from Blonde on Blonde. I like most of the album, but doing Stuck Inside of Mobile or Visions of Johanna definitely would take a while

I’ve been waiting patiently for Queensryche’s “Rage For Order” album to make an appearance. I thought Farottone said he was going to tackle this, since he did the other epic Queensryche albums (thank you for those, Farottone). But alas, no cigar. Is Farottone doing charting still? I’ve been out of the loop lately but haven’t noticed any of his work.

I’m exploring a lot of soft-rock classics, they are definitely on my radar.
