I’m talking about the .dta files that have been modified to eliminate the ‘short version’ code, and are safe to use for baking upgrades into. Having trouble wrapping my brain around what to do, especially since when I open the file it’s formatted differently, have to spent a lot of time spacing things out so that I can read it, and then worrying I’m changing the wrong lines.
Unless the .dta files you include in the RBHP upgrades already has everything changed to only have long version data, and I can just swap it with the one in the vanilla file. Then I’d feel a little silly.
I think they are, but I’ll have to double-check a file when I get home.
The RB1 files are in the same format, they’ve just had all the whitespace culled iirc.
Did some more updating of requests and statuses.
Progress, gents. We’re in the final 15 releases or so, iirc.

Who’s interested in more Pro Guitar? Well, I wanted Pro Keys on a few of the Juanes tracks that were just recently updated. I have some decent in-progress charts in case anyone wants to look at those. Then we could do Pro Guitar on some of those too.

Oh, err… oops.
Maybe I didn’t do the optional upgrades in the right order? I started with Song Info Fixes, then Chart Fixes, then Pro Keys, then Pro Guitar/Bass. For “Foreplay / Long Time” I see harmonies and the pro guitar/bass parts, but not pro keys.
Edit: Yep, that’s the wrong order. I’ll try again. I see this post was updated since I last made my notes.

Can someone help me or Redirect me to where I should go for help?

Can someone help me or Redirect me to where I should go for help?This usually means that the original DLC file metadata was present when you did the first build, or the cache didn’t stick. This generally means a) you have a song cache present on another connected drive, or
your DLC wasn’t ‘removed’ from your environment during the first build. It can also mean things weren’t built under the same TU, though that’s less likely for this specific error.There’s an entire board for RB:HP where you can post troubleshooting stuff, fwiw. It’s a subforum under Other Customs.
