At this time I am not currently charting upgrades for songs not currently available in Rock Band.

Is ‘Bang’ from Rockapella still on the list to get harmonies eventually? I think it was an RBN1 release, but I don’t see it on the spreadsheet. I would love to see that track get the true harmony upgrade it’s always deserved!

I did not queue every RBN song up that needed an upgrade of some kind because frankly a) that falls outside my original scope, which was updating official DLC (that I own), I’ve always counted the RBN stuff as ‘extra’ on my releases, c) I don’t own every RBN song but I do own all the DLC, and d) I don’t really want to be ‘obligated’ to update another 400+ songs, which I would definitely need to check for pro drums and possibly shore up the original vocals authoring a la Fat Kid.

 

The spreadsheet only includes songs which have had some form of upgrade/fix released, and not every song on there with a harmony part will be getting a harmony upgrade. I’m slated to finish in December 2015 as is, dammit.

 

Bang might get something at one point but I would likely just author any vocal parts not currently charted to another instrument… which might not mean much of an upgrade. I might do the full kit but who knows.

 

Edit: I had made a list of RBN1 songs and tried to identify which ones needed Pro Drums, and it was a lot. I didn’t give them all a listen to see which ones were harmony-eligible, so the 400+ is just a guesstimate. I would basically be adding 33% more songs to the project, many of which have a handful of downloads, so… yeah. RBN upgrades might slow down a bit over the next little while as I am working on a move and stuff but I’ll try to get back to 2/release eventually. It’s also worth noting that I usually am authoring these myself as RBN submissions are rare — but I’d love to have the original authoring groups upgrade their own stuff for sure. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
