Alright, so my computer did this funky refresh and I lost all of my programs. So I had to reinstall EVERYTHING. I got everything fixed, and got to working on songs like I always have, doing nothing different than I always have. But now, I am experiencing an issue with the notes in the song going faster than the song itself. This isn’t noticeable until you actually start playing it on Rock Band. So, if anyone could help me out and give me suggestions on what’s going on, that’d be great. Here’s the song link, which is “Hypnotize” by The Notorious B.I.G., if anyone wants to take a look at it or plug it in to see the dilemma for yourself.

It’d be nice to have some feedback on this soon please, I really want to make more customs. Thank you to anyone who may be in the process of figuring out anything about my issue and I don’t mean to rush you at all.

Relax. Don’t bump your own thread. If someone knows and wants to help, they will.

This song package is using a tempo of 120 BPM. Have you added and mapped the song tempo properly to your REAPER project? And if so, are you exporting the MIDI from REAPER with the tempo map embedded?

I’ve had issues like this before, not really sure what causes it.
You can try changing your timebase to beats (position only) in project settings in reaper, and making sure each envelope point is snapped to the grid.

Every time this happens to me, I’ve ended up finishing the song to find the issue has disappeared.

You can always redo the tempo map from scratch in a new project, then copy all your tracks over, that will definitely solve the problem.

All I know is that I have done nothing different than I had used to, and it’s doing this crap now. I mean, ever since that song, I haven’t worked on anymore because I was afraid of wasting my time making a song that wouldn’t work. I don’t really understand what to do by what kind of solutions you guys may have.

I completely forgot to check off Embed tempo map. I can’t believe it took me that long to figure this out. Thanks guys.
