I really wish that people complaining about this would shut the hell up.
Personally, since I totally lack the patience and time to do charting myself, I am eternally grateful to ANYONE who puts out ANYTHING for me to try for freaking FREE.
My those who piss on the hard work and efforts of others suffer 7 hells for all eternity!
Thanks for part one (and all the other customs I have enjoyed for years – I am at 1,800 and counting).
I love Prince’s catalog, so there will always be songs I would love to play, but until I do it myself, I am very content to say THANK YOU and play whatever someone else is gracious enough to provide.
Great work authors, a fitting tribute and one that I find personally poignant too.
June 11, 2016 at 6:31 am #470142My initial post about this came off way different than I honestly intended it. I didn’t mean to get everyone riled up, I’m sorry folks.
First off, my mistake about “Kiss” – I thought it was a part of this package. My complaint about is is mainly that it’s just so uneventful on any instrument. But that’s just opinion, it’s cool that it’s available. But, my bad for bringing it up, as I thought it was part of this package.
As far as songs cutting off mad early, I WAS trying to ask why they came out like that – the way I put it across doesn’t look that way though, now that I read back. My fault. I’m definitely guilty of thinking that certain tracks were rushed, or not given the proper care.
I am fully aware that customs are free products that people make for the love of doing it, so we have no right to complain about them, you’re right about that, so all I can say is “i’m sorry” – real talk, it’s not what I meant.

We don’t want people to “shut the hell up”, we want people to have their own opinions and share them, we just want them to be aware of that goes into a song and how much work authors do.

We used the single version. The album version is over 8 minutes. For this project, time was an issue. It is part of the delivering a weekly release that can be counted on. The full version is certainly a possibility in the future.
Simple answer: weekly releases already require more man hours than most can imagine. Adding an epic length song and getting everything done was too much for this week’s release.
June 11, 2016 at 3:24 pm #470164Awesome pack guys! You really hit the tribute out of the park. An amazing artist gone too soon.
June 11, 2016 at 3:36 pm #470166Really Nice tribute to Prince guys.

June 12, 2016 at 1:02 am #470195It’s so pathetic that the same people that criticize work done by authors, whether those authors are Nunchuck, Syg, or otherwise, won’t even bother to try and author the versions of whatever song(s) they want, because they think it’s too difficult to make customs. Man, some people here are just too damn spoiled, they need to realize that we customs authors don’t have to, and will not cater to everyone’s wishes. These people can complain about free stuff somewhere else. Prince rocked, and I’m glad that these dudes released any of his music, edited or not.
June 12, 2016 at 9:05 am #470208^what Froogle said.
Remember people, neither Sy nor Nunchuck HAVE to do this, they do this in their free time for YOU, the community. So please, for heaven’s sake, stop complaining about the great work they put hours of effort into just because they had to cut some tracks short.
June 12, 2016 at 3:22 pm #470219Guys, the point was taken and he explained the reasoning, there’s no need to pile on.
June 28, 2016 at 2:06 am #471188Thank you very much for making this possible. I never imagined I would have so much Prince in RB3. It’s exciting to have some of his hits and a newer song like hardrocklover!
Awesome job, everyone!
