Hey, not sure where else to ask this. I’ve been having issues with my game not playing the on disc songs. The problem started happening when attempting to load “Imagine”, first of all, the song preview does not play, and when the song is selected the game becomes stuck on the loading screen before the song would begin. I can still load the options from the bottom of the screen, but any selections that would take the game out of the loading screen (trying to open calibration, etc.) do not do anything. Further, after trying to play the song preview for Imagine, any other RB3 disc song becomes unplayable as well (no preview, no album art, freezes on loading screen when attempting to play). If I load the game and don’t interact with Imagine in my library, other on disc songs are still playable. Any idea how to fix this? I’ve tried moving my custom songs out of the RB3 folder and the issue is still present.
small scratch on your disc.
have you tried rebuilding the song cache ? beware you could / will loose scores on songs … also if you can get another disc id recommend installing the game on the HDD if you can it will give you less problems

The PS3 doesn’t save the song cache so every time you boot the game it’s rebuilding on its own. Also, on PS3 you can’t install the game on the HDD, unless it’s jailbroken and you’re using a disc image.
