Ok, then. It’s Mona Lisa by Dead Sara. Whom I have never heard of, but will give a listen to.

This is something new, here are some details about the release:
It was my wonderful wife’s birthday this week, so this release includes a birthday present to her. It is the Dead Sara track, if you have never heard it before give it a listen at…
It is a hard rock track with cool female vocals, definitely catchy and fun to play.
Also a note on the use of the live version of Jungle Love… When you play you will know why we did it. This version has more guitar and it really sounds great. In fact, is has an awesome guitar solo and some really cool vocals.

Once again I have overfilled the Opening Post with too many awesome songs. I do plan on working on the opening post soon, I have just been super busy this past few weeks.
It was a great week for the hints, you guys rocked all of them. I love weeks like that. Thank you playing along.
We will return soon with more hints and another release. In fact, the next release will contain the 200th song from Sygenysis and I. Thank you to everyone that has checked out our thread. We try very hard every release to bring you folks a variety of songs that will offer something for everyone. I’m quite sure next week will have some songs people will very happy to finally see in RB.
Also, a big fat thank you to all those who have collaborated with us and to those here at C3 that give selflessly their time to help new authors and those that bring us all these beautiful tools. This is one of the strongest internet communities I’ve ever seen. Thank you to all of you for that.
We will be back soon with more… Keep your eye out.

July 11, 2015 at 3:57 pm #450035So excited for Glorified G! Love the Pearl Jam. I like what I’ve heard of Dead Sara. Thanks as always!
July 13, 2015 at 8:59 pm #450199Hey there Rockers,
Happy Monday, it is my first day back from vacation and I’m here to bring you hints for the next release. That release will include the 200th song Sygenysis and I have done together. So this week there will be some pretty cool stuff. Since we don’t number individual songs, we try to make weeks like this one special. So, put on those thinking caps and bring up your Google because it’s time for hints.
Hint for song #1 – This week’s first track was released as a single in 2013. It was this artist’s first single with a new backing band, there have been many. This time it was an all female band. While not from his older classic albums it is just the right tool for the job, if the job is being awesome in RB.
Hint for songs #2 & 3 – Next we have a two pack of tracks from a legendary artist that has appeared in RB and GH with bands. These tracks are both his solo works. So it will be in two parts.
2) This track, from a film soundtrack, was so damn good it ended up on the next album from his current band at the time. But say what you want, this track was an original solo track from the soundtrack to one of the best gang movies ever.
3) That artist’s next track was from his second solo album and features “talkbox”, which allows a guitarist to make distorted vocalizations with his mouth. It is a track we have both wanted for a long time.
Hint for song #4 – This next track is an excellent cover of an old Wille Dixon written, Muddy Waters recorded song. It is from their debut album. The best part is it is one more song from Dazed & Confused soundtracks.
Hint for song #5 – This next song is a deep cut from a quadruple platinum selling album. C3 released several tracks from this band quite a while back. I remember this song being a great way to finish side one. Wait, do you all know what side 1 and 2 of an album are? Well maybe some older dude who likes 70’s rock will get this one.
Hint for song #6 – I’ve seen this band in requests in the forums. I’m not sure this the track you had in mind. It is a sweet cover of a catchy 60’s beach classic, from this German metal band’s second full-length album. The band recorded demos under a name that was changed to distance themselves from Satanism and black metal.
Check back Saturday to see what these hints are all about.

July 13, 2015 at 9:21 pm #450200#2 & #3:
Joe Walsh – ‘In The City’ & ‘Life’s Been Good’ ‘Rocky Mountain Way’.
July 13, 2015 at 9:25 pm #450202#4 = Foghat – I Just Want to Make Love to You
#6 = Blind Guardian – Barbara Ann / Long Tall Sally (Yay!)
July 13, 2015 at 9:32 pm #450203#2 & #3:Joe Walsh – ‘In The City’ & ‘Life’s Been Good’.
Life’s Been Good was not on the second album. I’m gonna go with Rocky Mountain Way.
July 13, 2015 at 9:44 pm #450206A lot of choices for #5, I’m gonna go with
5. Oh Darling – Supertramp
And a guess that might change when I have more time later…
1. Breakfast Can Wait- Prince
July 13, 2015 at 10:23 pm #450212#2 & #3:Joe Walsh – ‘In The City’ & ‘Life’s Been Good’ ‘Rocky Mountain Way’.
Technically…”In The City” was released by The Eagles on “The Long Run”, IIRC.
WARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIORS!
Come out and pla-a-a-aaaaaaaaa-y.
July 13, 2015 at 10:23 pm #450213So close on that Prince guess. I would research the answer further, but I think I will go make myself a vodka based cocktail instead.
July 13, 2015 at 10:25 pm #450214And “In The City” and “Rocky Mountain Way” are both great freaking songs, btw. Anxiously looking forward to the reveals on Saturday!
(Bonus “Life’s Been Good” this week??!?!?!??!??!?!?!)
July 13, 2015 at 10:33 pm #450218And “In The City” and “Rocky Mountain Way” are both great freaking songs, btw. Anxiously looking forward to the reveals on Saturday!(Bonus “Life’s Been Good” this week??!?!?!??!??!?!?!)
That would be sick! Life’s Been Good is one of my most wanted songs in the game
July 13, 2015 at 10:45 pm #450219Supertramp – Oh Darling is probably right for #5, but I will guess ELO – Across the Border just because it would be so awesome.
July 14, 2015 at 1:02 am #450242And “In The City” and “Rocky Mountain Way” are both great freaking songs, btw. Anxiously looking forward to the reveals on Saturday!(Bonus “Life’s Been Good” this week??!?!?!??!??!?!?!)
I was so excited to find Life’s Been Good one time and then it didn’t have vocals. So yeah, that would be awesome if we could have it!!
