October 3, 2014 at 4:11 am #430335Fruitloops you should make your own thread with all of these awesome songs!
Thanks. We started doing this because 1) we play a lot 2) instruments are scarce and expensive and we wanted songs we grew up with before our guitars broke 3) musical tastes vary and a lot of what was being released through C3 really wasn’t what we wanted (this in no way diminishes what C3 does. They are amazing and do great work. For example, on the first page of the song data base is 100 songs, I’ve downloaded 6 and 3 were from last week.) So instead of complaining and posting request threads, we decided to tackle these songs ourselves (isn’t that really the reason everyone starts charting?). We went for quantity instead of quality. If they were playable and relatively close, we moved on to the next song. By posting them here, more people get to enjoy them and hopefully some of the better charters will pick them up and make them better. And when/if they do, I’m going to delete them from media fire and this thread. I’d hate to have my own thread and start deleting songs.
BTW, when I post a song, I do a search of the forums in case someone has requested it and I shoot them a PM informing them of the location. If I miss you for some reason, don’t take it personally.

October 4, 2014 at 12:33 am #430400Fruitloops you should make your own thread with all of these awesome songs!I also agree with this. When I created this thread, it was meant to highlight customs that would otherwise be lost in the shuffle of the old forums. Anyone currently authoring and releasing customs should have their own thread. Not only to keep releases visible in the OP (only I can edit it this one, and I don’t have the time to), but also to keep things organized.
But either way, glad to see more stuff coming.
October 4, 2014 at 1:27 pm #430427We have a few songs that we just can’t get (yet). Most of those songs are where there are no drums in the beginning of the song (Magic Power- Triumph and Still Loving You- Scorpions are 2 that we play but the charts are really not good due to the tempo map).Oh man – do I ever hope you find a way to make “Magic Power” work! I have wanted that song since 2007. And thank you for the songs you have released up to this point. I’m particularly grateful for “Amanda” and “High Enough”, but I’ve pretty much wanted everything you’ve posted (yes, even the Carpenters). I suspect that our respective iPod song libraries are probably pretty similar ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
October 4, 2014 at 2:56 pm #430432I agree with the others about you starting your own thread, fruitloops. Not only for the reasons already stated, but also because it will increase exposure to people who may be interested in making them full band. That Neil Diamond America track looks especially intriguing to me and I had no clue it was there until today.
October 4, 2014 at 5:04 pm #430433Ok, I’ll start the thread when I have a little time this afternoon. Once that thread is started I’ll remove the songs from this one. There’ll be a disclaimer though that once we put out the song, that’s it. Unless something is terribly wrong (uploaded the wrong version of the con for example) we have moved on to the next one. RPP files will be made available to anyone that wants them and I just might put a link in the song release to the files needed to continue production. Again, we get them “good enough” to enjoy. Everyone here is welcome to make changes and fixes as needed and re-upload as they want. Consider this as your permission.
We already have a lot in the works from Sheryl Crow to Bad English to Fleetwood Mac and yes, more Neil Diamond, so while requests are nice, unless it reminds us of a song that we have totally forgotten about, I doubt we’ll be taking requests. And FWIW, we peruse the request forum and have done a some of those.
Are you gettin’ it? Really gettin’ it? Come get it from me! (probably tomorrow)

looking forward to the one in bold fruitloops, I might have some other instruments to add to this as they are already done.
Also looking forward to the others you are doing as well.
October 4, 2014 at 6:49 pm #430436Can’t wait for what you have coming! Thank you so much for doing these. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
October 5, 2014 at 12:14 am #430447All songs I posted in here have now been moved to the new thread.
July 20, 2015 at 6:37 pm #450815Can someone with more time do me a favor?
1) Check if any of the songs in the OP have been released already. If it’s been a C3 release, just say so. If it’s been re-released in the Other Customs forums (hopefully as a better version), please give me a link to that so I can update the OP. If it’s been announced for RB4, please let me know.
2) Write down Name – Artist of all the songs in the OP in a list so I can add that to the OP. This in turn will make the songs show up when someone searches for them, as right now they do not show up at all.
Either or both of these would help me save time and tonight I’m going to update the OP. Thanks.

July 20, 2015 at 8:05 pm #450830A bit lazy on my part for not linking each individual one, but I’m surprised this hasn’t been posted here. If it has, then I’m surprised that I can’t read.
The songs are drums only, according to the spreadsheet, some have pro drums and some don’t. They’re also mostly 2x bass pedal, which might be a deterrent, but these guys are pretty much doing their own thing off of C3, and that’s a little unusual to me, and I think they should have more exposure.
July 20, 2015 at 10:09 pm #450849you can also link my spreadsheet mostly of prodrums customs
