Nice, i really hope Muse will be in the game but that is unlikely.

August 3, 2015 at 2:17 pm #451950In a quickplay environment I would only choose 2/17 of those to play. Not much to be excited about for me.
August 3, 2015 at 2:19 pm #451951Wow. This set list does nothing for me and that’s extremely disappointing. I said this before, but with the amount of A-side songs already in the franchise, there’s only so many good songs left to license, but this looks more like a Rock Revolution type setlist: mostly B-side songs instead of A-side. No One Like You, and Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo are the only ones of note here. Between this and the lack of online play, I’m reconsidering my day 1 purchase, and as a diehard fan who has 2300+ Official songs, that’s kinda bumming me out.
August 3, 2015 at 2:52 pm #451952Well.. I’ve heard of like 5 of those songs. Strange choices by some of the bands.
Halestorm – “I Miss The Misery”
System of a Down – “Spiders”
I’d like to play these two.. meh
August 3, 2015 at 3:07 pm #451954Well, based on these tracks…
Super Hyped
N/A
Kinda Hyped
4 Non Blondes – “
“
Eddie Japan – “Albert” (Eric Brosius on guitar – HMX Bonus Band?)
Heart – “
” (can we freaking get Crazy on You as DLC already?)
Heaven’s Basement – “
“
Rick Derringer – “Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo“
Slydigs – “Light The Fuse” (can’t find this song, but the band is on Spotify – sound works for me)
White Denim – “
“
I’m OK With This
The Black Keys – “
Fall Out Boy – “
“
Halestorm – “
“
It’ll Probably Grow On Me
Duck & Cover – “Knock Em Down” (Daniel Sussman on guitar/backing vocals – HMX Bonus Band?)
Rush – “A Passage To Bangkok“
Eh…
Disturbed – “
“
Lightning Bolt – “Dream Genie” (Brian Gibson on bass – HMX Bonus Band?) (crazy on instruments but, uh, I main vocals, so…)
Scorpions – “No One Like You” (confirmed as the 2011 re-record)
Soul Remnants – “
” (instrumentation OK, but, again, I main vocals – note this is an MA band so could be an HMX tie somewhere)
System of a Down – “
“
Hopefully this is the ‘weakest’ of the reveals.
At least we’re getting some HMX bands here, though! Good sign!
August 3, 2015 at 3:11 pm #451955Hoping this is the filler tracks announcement, I’ve not even heard of half the bands!
HMX need to up their game on the remaining tracks to successfully relaunch the franchise ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
August 3, 2015 at 3:34 pm #451958The leaked setlist was 1000 times better than this

I preordered the band in the box and with the setlist so far there is 4 or 5 songs I like and of those most are customs. I sold my 360 with the old rock band stuff to a coworker thinking I’ll just pick up RB4 and be fine. That so far looks like a bad decision lol. Based off this setlist I don’t think whatever they have for DLC in the future will have much interest for me as well. Thanks Espher for providing links to the songs.
August 3, 2015 at 3:40 pm #451961The leaked setlist was 1000 times better than thisThat’s because it was a made-up wishlist.
August 3, 2015 at 3:52 pm #4519624 Non Blondes – “What’s Up?”Oh boy, I’m so excited for that song. It’s an awesome get….and we’ve had it as a custom for 3+ years.
Scorpions – “No One Like You”Did they seriously get Scorpions and NOT get “Rock You Like a Hurricane” ? Really Harmonix?
Wow.
Also, did anyone else catch the Arctic Monkeys slip? I’m considering that a solid “leak” – although obviously we don’t know which song.
August 3, 2015 at 3:54 pm #451963Hmm.
Nothing really grabs me either.
Just a couple quick notes that nobody cares about:
The Black Keys – “Fever”
-Not a bad song, but I was hoping for “Fever” by Free Spirit ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Halestorm – “I Miss The Misery”
-Not my favorite Halestorm song, but better than “Love Bites” (No offense C3).
Heart – “Kick It Out”
-Same as above. “Crazy on You” masters must not be available. It’s the only explanation. I would take a live version of it, though. But I’d rather have “Straight On” than this one, if masters are available.
Rick Derringer – “Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo”
-Somehow, in all my life, I missed this song. It’s awesome! One more to add to the ‘pros’ list for whether to buy XBone + RB4 (it’s still too short atm).
Scorpions – “No One Like You”
-I haven’t heard the re-record of this, but if it is as bad as the re-record of Rock You Like A Hurricane, I could have done without. Sort of like with the weird alt-version of “I Feel Good” on RB3. I’d rather have a live version.

Wow.
Not sure if serious. I think it’s been accepted that the masters for Hurricane (and apparently No One Like You) are not available/usable. HMX must not be as good at separating audio as you are Nemo ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Trust me, you don’t want the re-record of Rock You Like a Hurricane. Not sure why Live wasn’t an option though.
