Step 1: book one of the most sought after bands

Step 2: release any song from their most popular album

Step 3: release more… wait, what happened to step 2?

Also, several bands debuted without their biggest songs or even any song from their biggest album. Heart, Midnight Oil, Journey, Bad Company, the Police… we just might not have noticed in those cases because the songs we did get were still pretty big, at least for the most part.

Considering U2 was long thought to be the band that wanted their own game “like The Beatles, only bigger!” I’d say it’s a major get that they’re coming to RB4 at all. And with Harmonix’s promises of more tracks to come, you might see step 2 soon enough.

DLC is starting to show up on the Xbox store…and some pulled songs and songs that were never playable in RB3 are in RB4!!!

It’s happening!!!

If I am reading this correctly…it looks like the legacy DLC is reverting back to original pricing. Songs which were a buck during the sale are back to $1.99. Is this correct, or am I reading the listings incorrectly?

Actually, it seems the Xbox One DLC prices are the pre-sale ones, the Xbox 360 DLC is still the sale price (and of course buying the 360 DLC songs entitles you to the One DLC songs)

It’s only a matter of time before MSFT gets that sorted out, though. I guess if anybody wants to get pre-RB3 songs for a buck…*IMMEDIATELY NOW* is probably the last chance to do it. These will be changed shortly, I’m guessing.

I really don’t like having DLC being exclusive, tbh. Especially exclusive to something you may not be able to get again

All DLC songs will be able to be purchased separately later on, as far as I know. I was told that, so hopefully it’ll be true. Just wish I had money to pre-order the game.
