Can’t wait for Ocean Breathes Salty. Great MM song.
September 13, 2017 at 4:20 am #490555Wait no longer!
Sorry it got delayed a day. I took a day off to manage my media library. Will help in the long run. Look forward to my next song! (I don’t even know which one to finish next.)
Of your wish list/to-do list, Now We Can See by the Thermals would be an awesome introduction of the band to newbies. At Least it Was Here by The 88 has already been made but is getting some upgrades before it’s put into the database.
On your singles list, you and I really overlap, taste-wise. You should check out my requests/suggestions list and my last.fm profile, both in my signature below. If you wanted to collaborate on any of the songs in my suggestions thread, I would contribute pitched vocals with available harmonies. Rock on!
Agreed with Now We Can See. That was always intended to be the first song I did by The Thermals.
Yeah I’m aware of At Least It was Here being made already, but when I downloaded and played it, there were a lot of charting mistakes. Glad to know it’s being updated!
And I’d really love to take you up on your offer to contribute vocals. I’ve been finding the most tedious thing while charting is timing out each syllable to 1/128 or 1/64. So yeah I skimmed through your suggestions thread and your last.fm profile and we do have a fair amount of artist overlap. The only song from my thread I saw in yours (on first skim) was the Spoon song, which will probably be a while before I get to it. But if you have any other specific songs from my list you may want to contribute to, just let me know and I’ll happily surrender vocal duties to you.
September 13, 2017 at 5:35 am #490556Wow what a nice surprise! Definitely going to play this one on Friday night ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Thanks for sharing it.
Keeping the content Canadian since 2017!

Of your WIP list – for my 2 cents I would vote for Modest Mouse – Polar Opposites next.
Many thanks.

Wow I actually have an original intended order of release for all of the songs on my list, and Polar Opposites was actually next. I really wanted to do it, but I was hesitant to release another Modest Mouse song immediately after the first one.
But… considering there’s demand for it, and it’s probably my favorite Modest Mouse song, I may just have to say screw it. Dunno how long it’ll take to finish. At least it doesn’t have the extra keys part nor the vocal harmonies that made Ocean Breathes Salty a pain in the ass to chart.
September 14, 2017 at 8:59 pm #490602Super excited for the Cymbals Eat Guitars stuff. Good stuff on what you have released so far, Ocean Breathes Salty worked great

Sounds like you made a good choice in your order ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
September 16, 2017 at 5:47 am #490654September 16, 2017 at 12:08 pm #490655Awesome! Thanks Kamotch.
As a bonus I will share a blue grass version that might not be as popular but still interesting none the less.
September 16, 2017 at 5:57 pm #490656Ha! My parents are actually huge bluegrass fans, so I may recommend they listen to this next time I talk with them.
Edit: Next song is Bomb the Music Industry! – Stuff That I Like
Expect it either today (Monday) or tomorrow (Tuesday).
September 20, 2017 at 4:43 am #490775To anyone who actually read my last post edit, sorry I’m a little late. I’ve been asked for a lot of favors in the past two days. Though technically, it’s still Tuesday here in California. Next song I put out in the database will be a little while longer than usual because I’ll be putting aside my next finished custom for a later date.
September 20, 2017 at 10:34 pm #490804Hey, thanks for your work! Super stocked for that, especially the Smiths, Pavement, Arcade Fire (please do Tunnels!) and the Replacements!
May I ask about the lack of The National? Such an amazing band, and their drum patterns are constantly amazing. So many options! Terrible Love, The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness, Conversation 16, Fake Empire, Apartment Story, England, the list is endless…
Also another unmentioned great is Wilco, and any later years Radiohead is really missing (many songs only have guitar). There There, 2+2, Pyramid Song (imagine the drums!), Morning Bell, National Anthem, Ful Stop, Present Tense, Identikit, How to Disappear, etc.

There is a separate Radiohead project (by Septekka) for all your Radiohead wishes. Agree with you on The National / Wilco, a real shame that there is so much lacking there. I suppose there are no charters that are interested in those bands. However, there are many other goodies out there to be glad about anyway ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

I’ll look for the Radiohead project! And yes, that’s a shame. Somebody did chart Bloodbuzz Ohio, so I guess there’s at least some interest in the National – here’s hoping there’s more to come. Honestly I’m sure they’ll make some of the most original and refreshing drum charts in the game.

Thanks I’m glad you’re enjoying my stuff! I had Tunnels as part of my list already, but I believe someone else has claimed it. It may not be super soon, but I have it on good authority it’ll be released before the end of the year. Hopefully I’ll be able to release something by The Smiths, Pavement, and The Replacements before the end of the year as well.
Sorry I don’t know much from The National or Wilco, and I’m not really looking to add more to my plate haha. Hope you understand. As for Radiohead, the only songs of theirs I could consider myself a fan of are already available. And as mentioned by Mandrag, Septekka’s the Radiohead guy.
My next song to be released will be Yuck – Get Away. Due sometime next week. I’ll won’t give an exact date so I don’t stress too much about deadlines and rush it.
