Ah, is that in the intro leading silence?
June 20, 2020 at 12:55 am #512197I actually cannot convert Mary on a Cross, due to a bpm marker OVER 500.
You could import it into EOF and then delete the marker, then re-export the MIDI. Fastest way to do it without affecting the map, unless Moonscraper or feedback has the ability to delete it cleanly

Nah, its closer to the end of the song, right before the chorus
June 20, 2020 at 1:14 am #512199I don’t remember putting in a 500BPM marker. Although, the map we started with wasn’t impressive.
The EOF thing will work.

Welp, when you delete a bpm marker it will affect the map at this start of the delete marker. You’ll need to retempo everything at this point of the song ’til the end. Since I work only with moonscraper for my project, I kinda know what’s happening on that subject. Then “replacing the notes correctly” because they will be misplaced due to the beat change. And since that song was made way before many tutorial of charting and bpm finding. I guess it will need more fixes eventually ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

OK, I just checked the entire song in Moonscraper and couldn’t find a single bpm marker over 140. The whole song pretty consistently sits around the 129-131 bpm range with a slower section before the outro that dips to around 111. I don’t think it’s a case of a misplaced decimal point either (although if it is, that’s an easy fix). My suggestion is to delete the 500+ bpm marker or replace it with one that’s identical to the previous bpm marker. My guess is it won’t affect the chart in the slightest, although if you test it and it does, please let me know.

…eh? This chart was made in January this year and the song was released in 2019, what do you mean? I definitely plan on going back and editing some of my earlier charts that are in desperate need of a remaster (probably gonna start with The Stone Roses in August) but Mary should be fine for now…unless you’re waiting for me to follow Clone Hero charting tutorials that advocate overusing strums and open notes because reelizm. Then you’re gonna be waiting a looooooooong time!
If anyone else has an issue with converting a chart of mine due to weird bpm markers or anything like that, let me know and I’ll try to fix it up!
June 21, 2020 at 2:56 pm #512240I’m gonna look again. Maybe I’m blind lol.
June 21, 2020 at 3:06 pm #512242Well then, I did what nsw suggested and it worked. Nothing changed. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
I probably should’ve checked right away but I was going to bed at the time.
Plus I’ve been on vaca since Thurs so I haven’t really been here.
So whoops! Lol.
Keep up the good work guys!
So expect a Full band version of this soon. Maybe some one will tackle pitched vox and harms. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
ps. I’m sad lol I had 85% of the drums done when I thought I couldn’t convert it. Lol.
June 21, 2020 at 3:10 pm #512243Excellent, thanks beard and nsw! Mary’s a fun one on guitar so I hope you guys can all enjoy it soon!
Speaking of things you can all enjoy soon, my next 6 songs will be uploaded on Saturday!

Ghost in general is great. I’m hoping do the same with “Kiss the Go Goat” and “Idolatrine” after I get “Mary” as full band. ,,/
And i’m gonna get those Thin Lizzy and Rainbow tracks converted soon.

I think you haven’t read that I use moonscraper. Sorry if you seemed offended…

Beard – I have already converted Rainbow – Temple Of the King, just a little backlogged at the moment in adding the missing instruments.

I don’t think anyone was offended, we just failed to understand what on earth you meant.

Sorry if it was hard to swallow. This is the last time I gonna publish something. Since I think personnally that it wasn’t that hard to understand!!

Yeah, I use it too. You said “since that song”, not “since that software”, hence the confusion. Thanks for trying to help earlier but evidently it was a little tricky to decipher accurately.
