Out of the 9:
5 work, 1 doesn’t (still loops at end) & 3 no longer show in music library at all. At first I thought I forgot to copy them over after deleting the old files but that’s not the case as all files have today’s time-stamp on them.
Wasn’t expecting that one.
May 1, 2015 at 2:27 pm #444277Not showing up has absolutely nothing to do with the audio though ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
Which is the one that is still looping?

I would agree but the fact that it shouldn’t happen at all and it has to not one but three songs being tested… I will repeat the test on these and see if it changes. If it doesn’t I will repeat with 370. Hopefully it was me. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
The one that didn’t work was Sowing the Seeds. Looping at end.
May 1, 2015 at 2:40 pm #444279Yeah, it was me. Not sure how 3 songs disappeared from the dta but never mind.
May 1, 2015 at 3:24 pm #444286All 9 are good except the Sowing the Seeds & Mad World from Tears for Fears which you already knew would happen.
Checking 4 from today’s C3 release atm. So far one is fine & Jane is looping. Do you want to know this stuff now or should I hold off until you are ready to test again?
May 1, 2015 at 3:26 pm #444287You can keep posting as you find stuff. It would be easier if as you find more, you compile it into a list rather than name them through multiple posts.
Also, it would help if you specify where each song comes from (database or thread if from other customs) and check what encryption they use by throwing it at song analyzer.
That narrows down the problem a lot.
May 1, 2015 at 3:40 pm #444288Ok well all songs read as 0x0D encryption in Visualizer unless otherwise stated. As of now the only customs not fixed with 371 are from the C3 Database. They are:
Tears for Fears – Sowing the Seeds & Mad World
Jefferson Starship – Jane
Jessie J – Domino
May 2, 2015 at 9:38 am #444378I’ve been looking around with those errors, and those errors are somehow similar to the errors I was pointing out before that got corrupted sound in the middle of the song like songs:
Fort Minor – Remember the name
Scratch21 – The Rhyme
John Mellencamp – Hurts so good
Linking Park – Burning in the sky
The difference to the new songs problem is that they get stuck at exactly same position at the end of song, and you can go back to the library while in the mentioned song you couldn’t do anything exept restarting rock band.
So far I’ve tested 4 songs that didn’t work with encryption type 2 10 seconds, here are the results:
Tears for Fears – Sowing the Seeds – loops at the end of song – encryption type 0xCD
Tears for Fears – Mad World – loops at the end of song – encryption type 0xCD
Middle Class Rut – New Low – loops at the end of song encryption type 0xCD
Lady Gaga – Marry the Night – no sound at all and freezes in the menu – encryption type 0xCD
May 2, 2015 at 8:56 pm #444422To be clear, I’m only looking at issues caused by audio encryption – that’s independent of any of the choices you have when converting, those are only for MIDI to EDAT encryption.
I added a tool to the PS3 Converter that I would like some of you to test and see if it works as intended.

Click on Encryption Options -> Fix mogg that causes looping and feed it a mogg that has already been converted to PS3 use but causes looping in game.
That should, in theory, remove the problem that causes the looping. Test it and let me know.
May 3, 2015 at 8:48 am #444453tested 3 songs below with the fixed .mogg files, but unfortunately all of them still have looping error:
Tears for Fears – Sowing the Seeds
Tears for Fears – Mad world
Middle Class Rut – New Low
May 3, 2015 at 1:03 pm #444465That should, in theory, remove the problem that causes the looping. Test it and let me know.Okay, I ran the “Fix Mogg” function on Jefferson Starship – Jane. Unfortunately, it still looped at the end.
Just to be sure I’m doing this right, this fix only requires that the mogg file be swapped out – correct?
May 3, 2015 at 4:52 pm #444472You should convert the song to PS3 format first. If that loops, throw that ps3 mogg at the tool. If it says it fixed it, put that same (fixed) mogg in the game and try again.
Based on what djmike and I had tested before this should fix it. But I can’t confirm.
May 3, 2015 at 5:27 pm #444475Yes that fixed Jane, using your process of convert first and then fixing the mogg.
A tiny “flutter” at the end as if it was going to loop but if finished correctly.
TrojanNemo you are a hero of the C3 world!!!
May 3, 2015 at 7:27 pm #444487Oh well what I did when I was testing is I’ve extracted .mogg files from the con file and copy that mogg into dir of the song..so that might be the problem.
Gonna test it as trojannemo described with the songs that wasn’t working.
May 3, 2015 at 7:47 pm #444489Okey after doing steps as beeing said, I’ve tested the songs I had problems with:
Tears for Fears – Sowing the Seeds – works fine
Tears for Fears – Mad World – works fine
Middle Class Rut – New Low – works fine
Great job trojannemo in finding the fix for us, thank you a lot!! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />)
