Just to chime in here.
You guys need to be more organized. You need a plan of attack. If you come to me and say “Hey Nemo, this is the problem. This is how you fix it.” – I will gladly put the fix in the Tools.
But the constant “this song doesn’t work” and “oh no, this other song doesn’t work” – without any rhyme or reason, or without a solid attempt to find the solution, is never going to lead to a workable solution for anyone.
I don’t have a PS3, so it’s up to you guys to find the solution. Then I can implement it. Until then, I am reading the posts and I’m following the thread, but I have nothing I can contribute.

You’re totally right and none blames you but it’s a matter of time to test and solve things as you know for sure.
The PS3 system is quite tricky. I do my best to post and answer issues and I appreciate your effort in PS3 solutions but please be patient.
April 28, 2015 at 2:40 pm #443979I’m patient. Just saying that I am following the thread ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

April 28, 2015 at 7:22 pm #444006I’ve wondered how many active PS3’ers there are here.
So what are the 2 or 3 biggest problems we have?
These?
1. Stuck loading/locking during preview (possibly due to multitrack)
2. Soft lock at end of song (like Tears For Fears – Mad Word)
3. ???
April 28, 2015 at 10:04 pm #444032I can confirm Sewing the Seeds & Fool for the City have the loop/stutter thing at the end_of_music/end events area. I also have 2 customs that are mine that do the same. I will have to try running thru older versions of both programs and see if anything changes. I know one custom is old and worked before. I’ve messed with it since then however and now It doesn’t. If anyone has my original Seven Mary 3 on ps3 I’d be interested to know if it finishes for you.
April 29, 2015 at 4:43 pm #444125Where can I download latest c3 con tools? I don’t see the download link.. hehe
April 29, 2015 at 4:54 pm #444127Ok, I don’t know which thread to post these as this new issue is here and in the Broken Songs thread also.
I have tried a few things and got the looping-stutter problem bypassed. Trojan will have to take it from here. I ran 4 problem songs through the new Contools 370 but no change. I messed with adding and subtracting a few seconds to the dta on one song but nothing new there either. What did work is going back to Contools 365. 3 songs played perfectly to the end and one gave a skipping error but that is a fixed issue ( ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> ) so it was ignored for now. I did notice that a few of our esteemed creators are still using OLD versions of Magma (3.2.5, etc) and no doubt will cause unnecessary errors sometime in the future. I don’t think it matters but none of the 4 songs were encrypted. That’s all I got atm, hope it helps. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

May 1, 2015 at 1:01 am #444223Okay, I’ve played around a little more with the “soft hang at the end” problem. I thought it might be an issue with writing save data, but those songs will still write the lighter data without hanging.
From what djMike is saying, this sound like an encryption problem that is maybe related to an update to Magma? It also sounds like maybe CONTools 365 works…
Nemo, do you understand what’s going on? I’d like to help, but I’m at a loss for how to troubleshoot
May 1, 2015 at 1:54 am #444228Nemo, do you understand what’s going on?I have no idea what’s going on. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

May 1, 2015 at 8:54 am #444243Oooops, missed that update!
Thanks Nemo!
May 1, 2015 at 11:47 am #444253The update came after your post
Now it’s up to you guys to test and confirm that the audio issue was fixed.
EDIT: I also I’m fairly confident this will only fix songs that are not encrypted in Magma first. I’ll need to whip up a quick tool to address those songs as they present a slightly different problem. But confirm that this new converter fixes all the songs that were noted as being broken that are not encrypted in the Xbox version.
May 1, 2015 at 1:37 pm #444266Right now I’m testing all 9 known songs with the new tools. So far 2 for 2. I will finish with the 2 that I KNOW are encrypted and report back.
