April 20, 2014 at 9:35 am #418325The songs that gives me “Unable to load song skipping” are: All Time Low – Umbrella, One Republic – All the right moves, Mötley Crüe -Too Young to Fall in Love
Here is a rar file with those three MIDIs converted using the new method. Let me know if they work.

A C3 release I remember is Beatles-All You Need Is Love. That’s not a C3 release. Check db.customscreators.com before suggesting any more problem songs please.
I will not look at them unless I can download them from there.
I’ve tested new edats for songs umbrella and too young to fall in love, but they still have same error “unable to load song skipping”
April 20, 2014 at 10:05 am #418326Here’s something for you guys to check on your end.I looked at the last three songs I created test EDATs for, which I was told give you the error loading, skipping error. They all have 2 channels for drums. I then looked at the first three I had done, which you said caused crashing/errors based on the mogg file…and the three had 6 channels for drums.
Check if all songs with audio problems have 6 channels or not. It may be that the PS3 only supports 2 channels for drums? (if so, you’re pretty much screwed as far as a fix, there won’t be one).
It would be weard that ps3 only supports 2 channels, cause I know that in some official songs you can hear separate snare drum track, and if you don’t play it you don’t hear snare, but you hear other drums.
April 20, 2014 at 3:05 pm #418336Then i’m back to being out of ideas and sitting back while you guys try to figure it out.
So when you have a solution, get back to me. Do not suggest any more “try this, try that” – you try it, let me know if it works ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
April 20, 2014 at 3:20 pm #418338Thanks for the help and solving the “Hold my Hand” problem.
April 22, 2014 at 9:02 am #418527Unfortunately I don’t have much time to test things right now.
But I tested the “Hold my Hand” fix and it worked on my system as well – thanks for that!
The song “Wrapped Around Your Finger” from Police has the “skipping file” problem. The other two songs from Police work fine. Can anybody confirm this issue?
While TDCMark had fixed successfully the “Hold my Hand” issue manually could it be easy just to fix the “skipping file” problem for all of those songs which have the same problem or is it not a general problem?
April 22, 2014 at 9:28 am #418529Well the fixes TrojanNemo posted was for the songs with that “skipping” problem, but seems like the problem is not unique, but you should try to apply them so we can confirm they are not working.
April 22, 2014 at 9:33 am #418530Yes, I’ll test them asap.
April 24, 2014 at 2:48 am #418700I’m only posting on this thread because I have spent a couple of weeks helping you with the PS3 Converter.
Sorry to say I’m leaving C3 as of this moment, which means if any of you ever figure out a solution to the 15% or so of customs that aren’t working correctly, I won’t be around to implement it.
So I ask that if you do figure something out, post it here, help each other out, so PS3 users can get more than the current 85% or so success rate you’re getting out of PS3 Converter.
Sorry I couldn’t make the tool better for you before my time here was up.
April 24, 2014 at 7:19 am #418712These are sad news, not just only for our issue but for the whole forum as well! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
Thanks for all your help and for the excellent converter! Without that tool we still wouldn’t be able to play customs on our favourite game!
Hopefully you will visit the forum in the future…
April 24, 2014 at 7:28 am #418713I can confirm “OK Go – Get over it” and Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to run” does not work. If you choose the song it leads to a freeze of the PS3 system.
Bruce Springsteen – Born to Run works fine to me
Can you send me the converted song so I can test it on my machine?

I never had problem with that song, I downloaded xbox .con file and converted it with con tools. I don’t know how I can send it to you.

I tried converting the song but it didn’t work at all.
I’ll send you a pm with further information how to drop a file for me…

Unfortunatelly I have to confirm “Umbrella” & “Too Young to Fall in Love” does not work on my PS3 as well (skipping-song error).
April 26, 2014 at 12:54 pm #418883Alright, here we go, I did some of the leg work for you.I went through the thread, and these are the 10 C3 songs reported by PS3 users as not working for one reason or another. Any others, bring them up so we can add to the list. Please do not mention non-C3 songs as we are not wasting our time with those.
All Time Low - Umbrella
Black Sabbath - After Forever *
Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run *
Gotye - Somebody That I Used to Know (ft. Kimbra) *
Hootie & the Blowfish - Hold My Hand
John Mellencamp - Hurts So Good *
Linkin Park - Burning in the Skies *
Maroon 5 - Harder to Breathe *
Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved *
Mötley Crüe -Too Young to Fall in Love *
OK Go - Get Over It *
One Republic - All the Right Moves *
The Rocky Horror Picture Show - Hot Patootie - Bless My Soul *
Van Halen - Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love *
* - multitrack
I spent some time to test again all these songs mentioned by TrojanNemo and I can confirm following songs work fine on my PS3:
– Bruce Springsteen – Born to Run (after all it works now – don’t know why it didn’t at the first time)
– Hootie & the Blowfish – Hold My Hand (after it was patched with TDCMarks update)
– Maroon 5 – She Will Be Loved
– The Rocky Horror Picture Show – Hot Patootie – Bless My Soul
April 26, 2014 at 1:23 pm #418885Has anybody tested the song “Wrapped Around Your Finger” by Police yet?
It still has the skipping-issue with my PS3… ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
