Here’s three songs that were reported not working.
http://www.keepitfishy.com/rb3/encryption_test.rar
Be warned, it’s a 250MB package. It includes 3 in the old (reported as not working) method and 3 using the new method.
Please test all 6, and confirm that the 3 “old” ones don’t work and the 3 “new” ones do. This is what TDCMark did with the one sample he put up. I integrated it into the PS3 Converter on my end, so if this works we have a solution. If not, I got no clue.
April 19, 2014 at 8:58 am #418243Tested all 3 old files, and they all made my ps3 froze in song library.
Unfortunately all of the new song files didn’t solve the problem, I’ve tested all 3 songs with new files but they also made my ps3 froze on the song library.
I saw that those new files got different edat file, but as I’ve tested before those song .moggs in different song folder from “yellow submarine” and they all made my ps3 hang as well, I don’t think their edat file is the problem, but it was a good try. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

Which 3 songs did you test? As the PS3 songs can have 2 different issues… either locking in the song library or as is the case with ” hold my hand” and several others it gives error of “unable to load” and goes back out to song library without locking up the system.
April 19, 2014 at 2:40 pm #418253The 3 in the link..
April 19, 2014 at 2:47 pm #418254The 3 in the link..Not sure what these are but it sounds like they are library lock up songs, where TDCMark fixed an “unable to load” song. So your mods may work on the correct songs with that problem. I am not home right now but I did know of several with this same issue… one such song is “Children Grave”.
April 19, 2014 at 6:15 pm #418263Yes, the 3 songs TrojanNemo posted had the problem with freezing in the song library, and unfortunately new files didn’t fix them in my case. TDCMark made fix for a song with “unable to load song skipping” problem, and that one got fixed.
April 19, 2014 at 7:15 pm #418266Well give me the name of 3 C3 songs that do that and i’ll post new EDAT files for them and you tell me if that works.
Also, viperi, check your PMs please.

Is this a fix that can be taught as I am coming across a few forums releases, a couple C3 releases and even fought one legit xbox con that all gave the “unable to load” error when converted with PS3 converter.
A C3 release I remember is Beatles-All You Need Is Love.
Several good forum releases are:
Your “Eminem/Rhinanna- Love The Way You Lie”
Your “Trapt-Headstrong”
Both awesome choices btw!
& Clintilona’s “Black Sabbath- Children of The Grave”
Even a legit xbox con if you want to know.
April 19, 2014 at 9:40 pm #418280When we find a fix I’ll add it to the converter. But I’m only looking at official c3 releases to avoid wasting my time with a problem that might be in the song itself rather than the conversion process.
April 19, 2014 at 9:55 pm #418281OK
Hopefully your 2 releases mentioned above will get adopted by C3 soon, great tunes I am looking forward to playing. Is there anyway that I can help?

Btw
Mötley Crüe -Too Young to Fall in Love has the “unable to load error” as well.
April 19, 2014 at 10:07 pm #418285OopsBtw
Mötley Crüe -Too Young to Fall in Love has the “unable to load error” as well.
That song was already mentioned as not working. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Should check on the list TrojanNemo wrote in earlyer posts where are all of currently non working songs. If you find a song that’s not on the list there you should write it down.

The songs that gives me “Unable to load song skipping” are: All Time Low – Umbrella, One Republic – All the right moves, Mötley Crüe -Too Young to Fall in Love
Those songs should have bad edat files and probably could be fixed easier. The other mentioned have some other problem inside .mogg file

A C3 release I remember is Beatles-All You Need Is Love. That’s not a C3 release. Check db.customscreators.com before suggesting any more problem songs please.
I will not look at them unless I can download them from there.
April 20, 2014 at 3:56 am #418313Here’s something for you guys to check on your end.
I looked at the last three songs I created test EDATs for, which I was told give you the error loading, skipping error. They all have 2 channels for drums. I then looked at the first three I had done, which you said caused crashing/errors based on the mogg file…and the three had 6 channels for drums.
Check if all songs with audio problems have 6 channels or not. It may be that the PS3 only supports 2 channels for drums? (if so, you’re pretty much screwed as far as a fix, there won’t be one).
