September 21, 2013 at 11:56 pm #406609Well I am currently working on doing the Saw Theme and planing to release it for Halloween, so there is that at least
Very good news. Spooky is almost done, so it’s two songs.
September 22, 2013 at 1:34 am #406612I have an online friend that wants to start doing customs, and is currently doing something for a Halloween-themed release. It’s his first custom, but he’s expressed his interest in maybe releasing it for C3. He goes here by GandWuser, and the song is “Nobody Likes You (When You’re Dead)” by Zombina and the Skeletones. I am actually helping him through it, so I’d thought I’d mention there’s an interested newcomer with some potential material for this pack.
September 22, 2013 at 6:44 am #406624Halloween is the best holiday, and I would love to have a proper showing. The Rocky Horror FtV 3-pack, for instance, is happening no matter what. It’s all a question of getting these songs ready in the next 3-4 weeks.
September 28, 2013 at 5:04 pm #406949Too bad is right, I should finish up the pro this weekend.
If the pack is no more, I’m gonna keep Spooky for another occasion, though it’s a shame. I’m wondering if I should take up Thriller and another song and, worst case scenario, find a third song and build a Halloween pack from those.October 1, 2013 at 11:45 pm #407132Ok, Thriller is on my to-do list.
October 4, 2013 at 7:34 pm #407372It’s a little late now but “Toccata – Carpimus Noctem” by Trans Siberian Orchestra would have been an awesome novelty song to add to this pack. Had I known about this earlier I would have definitely done that one
October 5, 2013 at 8:48 pm #407438Psh. Chunking out an entire full-band custom in like 20-30 hours over two days is par for the course here. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
October 9, 2013 at 1:03 am #407586Okay, guys. Who’s still able to contribute anything? We’re looking at potentially scrapping the pack at this point if we can’t get at least one more song. There’s been a lot of talk in this thread, but I know a lot of us got sidetracked by the Weird Al pack and/or real life.
drummerockband, is Tegan and Sara still happening? NL, the Saw theme? DeathThreatUK, Cradle of Filth?
October 9, 2013 at 1:07 am #407588Saw Theme is still happening, just struggling with the Drum chart even with the help from MrMet. Would it be acceptable if I submitted it for playtest without Drum reductions so we could get some more looks on it and some more opinions on jumping between the 3 different drum parts in play?

I’d love to add the song in this pack but unfortunately, I really just want to focus on the Weird Al tracks. I’m really sorry! I already had the drums and pro keys almost done anyway. I may release it later unless I can pump out the Weird Al tracks and then the T&S track but I’m not Farottone lol.
edit: Hold on, there’s a live acoustic version that is really good and would be simple to chart. If you want, I’ll see what I can do.
October 9, 2013 at 1:13 am #407590Spooky is done. Thriller is done except for vocals/harmonies. I’m considering Zombie, this week end I’ll see how much I can do and on Monday we could have an update.

October 9, 2013 at 2:01 am #407592K well after thinking about it for literally 5 minutes, I’ll do Walking With a Ghost but I’m going to do the live version found on youtube. It has no drums but I really like this acoustic version. Plus the harmonies are easy to spot. I hope that’s okay with y’all.

We’re totally cool with incomplete versions being submitted, they just won’t be scheduled until reductions are done (unless we really trust you to finish them by release, which we would for you).
Is anybody going to touch up on this? Not sure what you mean. Can you have him post it in the Customs WIP forum?

I hope that’s okay with y’all. That’s fine by me, and I assume (perhaps incorrectly) that I’m the biggest T&S fan here after you. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Also, if you need to focus on Weird Al, that’s fine, because we have at least a 3-pack, and maybe a 4-pack:
- Classic IV – “Spooky” (farottone)
- The Cranberries – “Zombie” (farottone, maybe)
- Michael Jackson – “Thriller” (farottone)
- Saw – “Saw Theme” (Nightmare Lyre) (probably not by “Saw” but you get the idea)
…and my FtV of Nemo’s port of the RHPS songs. I’d say that’s a decent Halloween week! Honestly, I just really wanted to have Thriller. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
