Authors: Nightmare Lyra & Neversoft
– Guitar/Bass multitrack
– Essentially Nightmare Lyra’s “Stockholm Syndrome” MIDI
– Updated Guitar/Bass charts (mix of Neversoft’s and Nightmare Lyra’s charts)
– Fixed tempo mapping
– Dry-voxed, because ventriloquism isn’t allowed on stage.
– Guitar/bass tested. Further instrument testing may be needed.
Files available upon request.
Authors: Harmonix
– Straight chart from Guitar Hero 1
– Needs remaining instruments
– Needs animated venue and events
– Needs dry vox
With a small budget of ~$1.75 million, and after being turned down by many developers for their wacko idea, RedOctane approached Harmonix, known for its reputation as a music game developer.
Their concept? Build a music game that would successfully incorporate a guitar-shaped controller built by them, inspired by the popular GuitarFreaks game in Japan.
Little did they know, how much their product would revolutionize the game industry for the next decade….

Can’t wait for you to fully finish this though. Not a huge fan of Guitar only . But still. YESH!

December 19, 2013 at 10:01 pm #410906This was much needed in the library. Thank you!
December 28, 2013 at 5:01 pm #411285Cool thanks. Are there any plans by anyone to chart the rest of this song?
December 28, 2013 at 7:13 pm #411293Cool thanks. Are there any plans by anyone to chart the rest of this song?Yes and I’ll also post the files for whomever that wants to partake on this journey.

December 29, 2013 at 8:04 pm #411344I am pretty sure you can put the genre as Metal ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
December 30, 2013 at 2:53 am #411367You are not charting it yourself?Yes and no.
I’m doing it, but it’s just gonna take a hell of a lot longer since I’ve got other things going, like work, classes, and a pretend social life. Now if anyone wants to chime in with “hey! I want to help out with this part!” Then we’ll get things quicker.
January 27, 2014 at 3:22 am #412971Touched up a crowd favorite, “Stockholm Syndrome.”
January 27, 2014 at 3:30 am #412972Might I ask exactly what changes you made? Also I wouldn’t say you “added a previously missing count-in and dryvox” when I only gave out a MIDI, though it is nice you added those to your CON of course
January 27, 2014 at 3:46 am #412974Might I ask exactly what changes you made?Available CONs prior to this update had a tempo and notes inconsistent with the audio, reflected by broken streaks and some frustrated players.
Since the music video audio was a measure ahead than the GH3 audio, I took all the MIDI notes back a measure to align with the GH3 multitracks and its tempo map.
I then reviewed guitar and bass charts from both your custom and Neversoft’s work, and worked them together.
Then I playtested it, and had fun.
With the exception of the 5-lane guitar/bass charts, everything, including overdrive, solo markings, venue and events, is your work, which is why I’m not considering myself its rightful author, just the guy putting 2 and 2 together.
January 28, 2014 at 9:58 pm #413086Stockholm Syndrome seriously needs a C3 release. There is the Nightmare Lyre version that has Pro Keys and isnt multitrack, then there is the mattm release that doesnt have pro keys but is multitrack, now there is Galexio’s version. Which version to keep?
February 19, 2014 at 8:07 am #414393Hey there. I’m kind of new to the scene after being a long time lurker. I would love to get into some authoring at some point, but I thought maybe I could start somewhere small.
After I saw that you had the GH cover of Iron Man as a WIP, I got out the old mic, and belted out a dry vox wav for it. I’m not a good singer by any means but if anyone wants to use it, just let me know, and I’ll post the link in this thread.
