I haven’t following this thread. Can Dolphin emulate vocals and would it accept input from a USB mic and play like the Xbox?
February 19, 2015 at 5:12 pm #438803Only one branch of the emulator gets microphones connected natively. I don’t think it would actually let you sing with a microphone though. There is autoplaying of the part though.
March 18, 2015 at 9:24 pm #440916Amazing work with all of this, really. I’m using the stuff from this thread to test charts and record video, so thank you.
However, I noticed that right now, the pro guitar cheat only works for Mustang charts. Is there any way to make it think I have a 22-fret Squier hooked up? Thanks in advance.
March 18, 2015 at 9:55 pm #440922I knew that would come up at some point. I’m not familiar enough to have known the difference right away. Could you show me a comparison in-game on what I should be expecting between the two charts?
March 18, 2015 at 10:09 pm #440924The issue I came up with was in a custom of mine, which goes all the way up to the 22nd fret.
Anyway, here’s a comparison for TTFAF’s charts:
Squier:
Mustang:
You can see in the intro strumming right away that it’s different. As for on-disc charts, I’m honestly not sure which ones are different. I’d say Rainbow in the Dark probably goes up that high in the solo, but that’s a guess. I believe the last note in Caught in a Mosh’s solo is also different between the two charts.
March 19, 2015 at 3:52 am #440940Apparently it’s not as trivial as I thought. The game is so hardcoded to declare the Mustang the default Pro Guitar that none of my attempts to change that have had any effect. Is there someplace in the game that would show the full name of your current controller? I see a list of those stored, so it’s probably best to find it that way.
March 19, 2015 at 4:14 am #440945Not that I know of.
The second to last song trainer on Rainbow in the Dark should be a good test as to which pro guitar is hooked up though.
April 9, 2015 at 4:10 am #442328Stack, do you have a code that autoplays only mics in all instruments mode? also, the concentration mode freeze my game the moment i choose a song
April 9, 2015 at 5:19 am #442329Cut the current autoplay code in half and only use the bottom part, if I recall correctly.
Yes, I know there are issues with concentration mode. I don’t even know why it works the way it does. It’s mostly a side effect. I can look into it again though. And debugging is hard.
April 9, 2015 at 5:55 am #442333don’t worry, u did a lot for us wii users, besides, i also like the white venue anyways, thanks again for all your awesome work (specially 3000 song limit cheat) ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
April 9, 2015 at 9:15 am #442334Stack is a demigod among Wii users. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
April 26, 2015 at 11:56 pm #443857Let’s dust this off for a bit. I think I have a new and improved Concentration Mode cheat that shouldn’t be crashing all the time.
$Concentration Mode v2
04228190 38600000The fact it worked at all is surprising. It’s just reading random trash data with the old cheat, but if it’s a 0, then for some reason it falls back to this.
August 3, 2015 at 10:01 pm #452012Edit: I figured out my issue- have to enter the codes as Gecko codes instead of AR. Working perfect now!
Massive effort on this Stack, thanks for your work.
I’ve got autoplay working with the latest code, but I’m still getting the notification to plug in mics. Do the “fake mic” commands work in conjunction with the newest autoplay? Here are the settings I’m using:
Using Dolphin 4243 (also tried on latest)
Using the latest auto play code along with the 3 fake mic commands, and no other codes enabled
Had to enter the codes as AR Codes instead of straight into the config, as the auto play was not working that way
Using All Instrument mode, with 1 emulated guitar controller and 1 “blank” emulated wii controller
Do you need to have the wii motes setup as something specific to get the game to recognize mics? Anything else I might be missing?
Let me add that here is my game config if it’s worth anything:
