Being in New Zealand has it’s benefits. Santa has left the North Pole. Redone the Wii, got a party happening tonight on Christmas Eve. Most will not have done this before. Just in case, dug the old PS2 and SingStar out!

Thank you all you customizers. Happy holidays all, be safe

A Rock Band party sounds like fun, might end up playing it when I visit my friend on Christmas. Happy Holidays all!

We’ll probably have a RB party before the New Year …. have a great one everyone! <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Season’s Greetings to one and all…….

An RB3 party with all this great new material from C3Thon sounds like a great plan to bring in the New Year!

Be happy and safe everybody! <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

          Just in case anyone’s interested.

So, we had 20 odd people playing, some sitting out. Went really well, but as the alcohol flowed, the skill level went spiraling downward, as it does (all hail real rock stars!). Then, peeps started ‘requesting’ songs, which caused me some merriment. The party got briefly out of hand when I did ‘that’ bit of RATM ‘Killing in the name of’. That was followed by The Angels ‘Am I ever gonna see your face again’ (with the crowd version – I was the crowd). Then I was removed from the microphone…

The party went back to normal until about 11:30, when someone stood on the USB hub, and crashed the game. Rebooted, Wii refused to give DLC and disabled SD card access, so we were left the default songs. Which was probably the highlight – one of our friends had the mic, and decided to do Yoshimi’. He’d never heard it before, and drummer and lead guitar (my eldest son and myself) were unable to play through the tears…

Thanks you guys, we had an absolute blast – and the only regret was we didn’t actually get to ‘I’m on a boat’. Oh, and the Wii is back to normal as well! Roll on the next excuse, it really brought people together.
