Has Paranoid by Black Sabbath been done anywhere?
October 2, 2014 at 7:46 pm #430304Has Paranoid by Black Sabbath been done anywhere?I think there was a bare bones convert of that live version with Metallica as guest artists from GH:WoR floating around, but I can’t remember where or if it’s still available. Having the original would be pretty awesome either way.
October 2, 2014 at 8:34 pm #430309Excellent, thanks Nightmare. I am thinking of a Sabbath 3-pack representing Ozzy and Dio. Something like Paranoid, Voodoo and Children of the Sea. What are your thoughts?
October 2, 2014 at 8:45 pm #430312Not familiar with Voodoo unless it’s one of those songs I don’t know by name, though Children of the Sea is awesome so that would be excellent either way, especially if anybody decide to help make these full band eventually

YES!!!
Send it to me when you’re ready and I’ll bring it up to FB!
October 7, 2014 at 6:02 pm #430592After C3’s release of metal origins, I figured we need to add some more Sabbath. I want to do more than what I listed, just not sure which ones yet.
Also, adding some more Canadian content with 3 songs from Colin James.
October 7, 2014 at 8:39 pm #430607Woohoo! Voodoo Thang!
October 9, 2014 at 6:28 pm #430785Added a couple more Sabbath. I know War Pigs is available but the song is too good to only have a cover.
Also, a note about some of my charts. While going over a song with my son last night, I was reminded of something I keep forgetting to mention. For emphasis, he will, on some songs, add a hi-hat hit with the crash and kick. On our acoustic kits we have 2 rides, one by the hi-hat and one by the crash. So by habit (muscles memory even), this emphasis would be hitting the ride by the hi-hat. I have suggested to my son to just chart the ride and crash but on the Yamaha kit (for RB3) the ride is by the crash. I will be adding another ride (by the hi-hat) to the Yamaha kit soon and can then chart the ride instead of the hi-hat. I don’t know if any of C3’s drummers noticed, questioned or even cared but thought I would explain anyways.
Edit: Actually a ride/crash by the hi-hat.
October 9, 2014 at 6:59 pm #430788That’s cool. I like some Sabbath. Something I would like to see eventually is N.I.B. with the proper bass intro.
October 9, 2014 at 8:25 pm #430799Well how about I add it to the list? Hopefully some one will pick it up and add to it.
October 9, 2014 at 8:30 pm #430802Well how about I add it to the list? Hopefully some one will pick it up and add to it.I would probably be able to get to it eventually. I’m pretty busy with work until May, though, so wouldn’t be able to work on it before then.
Hopefully someone better would pick it up in the meantime ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
November 5, 2014 at 9:31 pm #432218Added some more Sabbath.
November 6, 2014 at 3:15 am #432239As long as you’re doing Sabbath how about Symptom of the Universe?
November 6, 2014 at 7:15 pm #432283Only a true Sabbath fan/drummer would ask for this song. I’ll see what I can do.
November 12, 2014 at 4:06 am #432711Looking forward to it. I love the fills in the intro shortly after the drums come in.
