There wouldn’t be a way to display the original song ID used before the game converted it, if that’s what you mean. But to tell you “this was alphanumeric and now it’s numeric because of the game” – sure. Just not very useful.
I was thinking to use it to help identify which songs are still not ‘wipe proof’.
February 7, 2015 at 4:05 pm #437918Makes sense. I already have it added ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
Also, anyone who is using the CSV option to then import into Excel…why are you not using the Excel option instead?

Crazy, I thought they were one in the same. I do use the Excel tab.

v3.6.6
SETLIST MANAGER
- Added pro bass tuning, pro guitar tuning, song ID and whether the song is wipe proof as fields that are exported when exporting as Excel or CSV using the 'Everything' presets for either format - you will need to re-import your song cache for the tuning values to be captured and stored in the new .setlist file
- Added detection of songs with pro guitar and pro bass tuning when viewing the Setlist details/statistics
- Fixed a couple of small Excel formatting errors
CON EXPLORER
- Expanded Quick Access Buttons to work with Pro Upgrades - will allow you to extract and replace upgrades.dta files in single song file or packs, and will allow you to extract and replace the upgrade MIDI in a single song file
WII CONVERTER
- Fixed bug that had broken creating of preview audio automatically when v3.6.0 changed how DTA files are read
PS3 CONVERTER
- Modified merging of songs in the Songs to Merge folder to account for nested DLC
GENERAL
- Fixed bug in X360 library that would fail when analyzing some files to determine if it was a CON file or not
- Other minor bug fixes and improvements
Hopefully this addresses all bugs that were reported and the few requests that I could fulfill. Enjoy.
Keep in mind I’m taking a break so I will not be updating any of my programs for at least a few weeks.
February 10, 2015 at 7:35 am #438108Thanks and have a great vacation!
February 12, 2015 at 1:30 pm #438204It seems Windows Vista and SoX don’t get along, so the audio playback in Visualizer doesn’t work well. If you experience problems with audio playback in Visualizer and you’re NOT on Windows Vista, please post here and let me know. It’s something I’m trying to find a solution to but it’s not caused by my code, it’s caused by SoX not getting along with something in Windows Vista.
February 16, 2015 at 9:24 pm #438518sorry for a noob post.
after downloading & extracting the rar file for the c3 con tool (“Bin”) how do i start the program?
again really sorry for this….
February 16, 2015 at 9:28 pm #438520There’s a tutorial in the front page. One of the very first things I do in it, is start the program. Check it out.
February 17, 2015 at 2:31 am #438566i have watched that video but im still at a lost which file to start with, the vudeo starts playing with c3 con tools already up and running. thanks
February 17, 2015 at 2:35 am #438567No, no it doesn’t. If you start the video at 0:00 on YouTube, you see me click on the shortcut.
In any case, even without watching the video, it’s just like any other program. Click on the ONE executable file that is included, C3CONTools.exe and that’s it.
The ‘bin’ folder comes with the tools, but that’s not all of it. Make sure you’re not deleting things in the process.

February 17, 2015 at 5:48 pm #438600Good to hear.
As for news, I haven’t been able to take my programming break because Colonel_32dll just had to find problems with the audio playback, and I don’t like leaving things broken.
We’ve already found a solution that is quite an improvement from the current system, so expect an update sometime this week that’ll fix the audio playback on Visualizer (and radically improves cPlayer for those few who have used it).
February 17, 2015 at 5:51 pm #438602Thank You for your amazing C3 CON Tools. Everything is so easy now, I remember some time ago, i had to edit everything manually for wii customs. Now i can really fast move to ps3. Your tool is a time saver
February 17, 2015 at 5:53 pm #438603PS3 is definitely an improvement over Wii, obviously Xbox being the optimal target for customs.
In any case, that information is more helpful to the PS3 guys, so post it on the PS3 thread for those that might need it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
