Now, i have a JTAG X360 with 3k songs and would like to add even more (Led Zeppelin mostly, my uncle will have a heart attack), so i have some questions and kindly ask for help:

 

1 – Can i just put the con files on my Jtag ? If so, where ? There is a specific folder ?

 

2 – Is there any “oficial” recommended packs of customs ?

The 2,952 limit of songs is not something you can get over on a JTAG vs. an unmodded Xbox. It’s hardcoded into the XEX game file and you’d have to figure out how to edit that value and recompile it. I’m not aware that it has been done. Also that will lead to memory leaks/memory issues so be careful.

 

JTAG or standard doesn’t matter for how to use the tools. Just use the tools and follow instructions.

Yeah. It never bothered me too much because a great chunk of RBN musics are trash, so i can always stay bellow this limit.

 

I managed to play the custom songs puting them in the 000000002 subfolder.

 

But sometimes the band members don’t animated/play their instruments. I read that i MUST use the T4 Update, but the problems persists. It is because of the music ?

No. It’s because of the title updates. You need TU4. I don’t know if things work differently in that regard on JTAG but there should not be any custom at the moment that doesn’t have at least generic animations – unless you don’t have TU4 properly installed and running.

Just to double check, we are talking about TU4 for Rockband 3, correct ?

TU4 for Rock Band 3, correct. There is a procedure for adding customs to Rock Band 2, but that’s a whole ‘nother barrel of monkeys.

Sorry for bothering again

I have no idea why it’s not going through the website, I saw the tutorial and it should straight start downloading right? I’m not getting anything, just a loading screen then it tells me the site can’t be reached.. do you think it’s an IP problem? (which i doubt since the link with the features etc opens just fine)

Don’t know what to tell ya. I don’t have your IP blocked, plus like what you said, the features txt file wouldn’t open either if that was the case. I think it’s an issue with your browser not knowing how to download .RAR files. Try different browsers. Try a different computer. It works for me on mobile and on desktop using Firefox.

Hey TrojanNemo. Appreciate you making this software, specifically the Phase Shift Converter portion. Converting 2K CON files from my Xbox to play on Clone Hero. Did a test run on around 200 and it went well. Leaving this big portion to run overnight now.
