Ok that’s cool. We were having fun with Funky’s AC/DC songs and most of those have “rhythm on keys” but they don’t show up when using that filter. Only the few songs that say “Rhythm Version” showed up.
January 7, 2015 at 5:04 pm #435774I’ll double check, but it should be picking up any songs that are marked as Rhythm on Keys/Bass in Magma or have Rhythm Version in the name. So either something isn’t right with the code or funky isn’t marking the songs correctly in Magma, only in the Visualizer. I’ll check it out.
January 7, 2015 at 5:08 pm #435775I understand that there are only a small percentage of songs that even have this feature so it’s not that big a deal. But thanks for checking anyway. You Rock!
January 7, 2015 at 11:28 pm #435780Well this would explain why it’s fine on your end, especially when I figured out since the other day that I had a problem with a 3rd song: We Are Young from Fun. And this one is a single song so the depacking process has nothing to do here, it’s when I convert it from LIVE to CON that the .mogg file disappears.
Got two LIVE files for testing. Converted from LIVE to CON in CON Explorer and clicked Save. Both files are intact, just changed type. Nothing went missing.
Went back to the LIVE files, converted them to CON using CON Converter. Same result. Files successfully converted to CON, nothing missing. Mogg files are there. So I’m going to close this as being corrupt on your end. I could swear I had seen a post from you to this effect but it’s no longer in the thread?
January 7, 2015 at 11:44 pm #435782I understand that there are only a small percentage of songs that even have this feature so it’s not that big a deal. But thanks for checking anyway. You Rock!I checked 5 of his AC/DC songs across 3 different albums, all marked as “Rhythm on Keys” on his thread.
None of them either have “Rhythm on Keys” on the song name nor use Magma’s flags to indicate they are indeed rhythm songs. So there’s no way for any of my software to know. The only way you know if because he’s manually clicking on the Rhythm on Keys icon in Visualizer rather than using Magma to mark it. So yeah, unfortunately, nothing I can do about it. He needs to use the tools correctly. I’ll shoot him a PM with this info so hopefully songs in the future from him will be marked correctly.
January 8, 2015 at 1:34 pm #435812So I’m going to close this as being corrupt on your end. I could swear I had seen a post from you to this effect but it’s no longer in the thread?I posted this on Tuesday to tell you were right about corruption of my files.
Anyway I must wait until next week in order to get the opportunity to transfer again those files from my Xbox to my laptop so I’ll let you know what the result is.I was able to try your fix today and… it worked fine for me! So since the beginning, this problem came from my files (or at least the files I transferred to my pc).
Happy everything’s ok. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

- Various other improvements to the code throughout
Also, you guys are customizing C3 CON Tools to your taste, right? There’s so many ways you can make it look and work to fit your personality, it’d be a shame if nobody was making use of it.
Here’s my current look, which has a transparent background so you’re seeing part of my desktop wallpaper:

January 12, 2015 at 3:01 pm #436042Just one question
is the Restricted tabs to decrypt mogg files ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
just kidding
I always wonder what are in them
also thanks for the update
January 12, 2015 at 3:04 pm #436043They’re C3 only use. There’s a fair amount of stuff that Harmonix would have called “black helicopter stuff” if it was their software.
What will blow your mind is that there are other hidden things beyond those two restricted tabs :-p
But nothing exciting. Just boring stuff. If you’re looking for exciting, try “Flappy C3” – it’s the best (only) game I’ve ever created.

Ok
I might try the game

January 17, 2015 at 2:02 am #436429Small update I worked on for my own uses earlier this week.

- Added feature to analyze the album art files when analyzing a CON file
- Added feature to analyze Xbox/PS3 album art files (just drag and drop it)
SETLIST MANAGER
- Fixed bug where difficulty levels were one tier too high after v3.6.0 and would cause errors for Impossible tiered songs
- Removed annoying ding sound when pressing enter to search for a song or artist
PACK CREATOR
- Fixed small bug caused by drag-dropping one of the pack thumbnails on the Pack Creator form
January 24, 2015 at 12:25 pm #436972I’m glad I found this tool. I am getting close to the song limit again, and I was always stuck with songs that were bought in a pack. It seems I can use the quick pack editor to get rid of those songs now.
However, I’ve read this thread and also checked the help section in the program and I still have a few things I need clarified.
1. If I use the Quick Pack Editor to open a DLC pack, and just remove some songs by editing the .dta only (I’m not worried about space), and repack, that breaks the ability to record scores online and play the songs in Blitz?
2. If I do this, does this break the RBHP harmonies I have installed? Can I still install all RBHP upgrades with the normal cache wipe method, or do I have to use the upgrade bundler in these tools?
3. When I wipe the cache, can I get scores back on my DLC still? Currently, before doing new harmony upgrades, I upgrade to TU5 and upload my offline scores, then wipe my cache, and setup the harmony upgrades under TU5. The game loads all my DLC scores and then I go back to TU4 and load my customs. I just got used to all my customs being cache-wipe proof, so it would be a shame to lose scores on my DLC now.

If I use the Quick Pack Editor to open a DLC pack, and just remove some songs by editing the .dta only (I’m not worried about space), and repack, that breaks the ability to record scores online and play the songs in Blitz?Any time you modify a game file, it now becomes a custom. So yes, if you modify a pack, you can’t use it on TU5 anymore, and you can’t use it on Blitz.
2. If I do this, does this break the RBHP harmonies I have installed? Can I still install all RBHP upgrades with the normal cache wipe method, or do I have to use the upgrade bundler in these tools? There should be no difference.
I just got used to all my customs being cache-wipe proof, so it would be a shame to lose scores on my DLC now.No idea. I don’t concern myself with scores. I think you might still need to connect to TU5 and have the scores downloaded after you delete the song cache?
January 24, 2015 at 10:45 pm #436995Thanks for your response. I was more worried about the harmonies than the scores to be honest.
