I hate the song, but the chart was interesting enough.

If, for any reason, I want to change some meta-data in an original RB DLC song that I have and it makes it into a rb3_con file, can I still do the RBHP update process on a rb3_con file or does it have to be a live file? Sorry if I’m not wording that very well as I am not totally sure exactly how the upgrade process works and what the difference is between these files (live files and rb3_con files).
It will work as long as the song_id and the short/header name (the name on the first line of the songs.dta file) are the same.

This release checked off a number of songs that have been often (or were recently) requested by fans of the project, so I’m glad to be able to get them to you. Those of you that know me (which, I guess, would be nobody) are well aware that my contempt for both Nickelback and the stylings of [most] country music is significant in quantity, so let’s just say that putting this release together was A MOST WONDROUS TIME.

LEGEND NEEDED KEYS AND HARMONIES, AND IT WAS RELEASED AFTER THE SUCCESSFUL TEST HARMONY PACKS OF GREEN DAY AND PEARL JAM, AND JUST BEFORE ALL DLC HAD KEYS AND HARMONIES (where applicable) IT WAS BOB MARLEY AND THE FLIPPIN WAILERS, WHY DID WE NOT GET TO SING AS THE WAILERS? THIS IS WORSE THAN SIMON AND GARFUNKEL OR TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS OR THE POLICESTING… BECAUSE THEY KNEW THEY COULD DO KEYS AND HARMONIES AND THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO THEM REALLY SOON, THIS WILL FOREVER SEND ME INTO A RAGE BECAUSE LEGEND IS THE FIRST ALBUM I EVER OWNED THAT MY DAD GAVE TO ME WHEN I WAS LIKE 8 OR SOMETHING AND THEREFORE IT WAS SOME OF THE MOST IMPORTANT DLC ROCK BAND HAS EVER MADE UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Would you be able to integrate those keys updates into the RB:HP? I noticed harmonies have already been added to those songs but I would love some keys on there too! More keys the better right?!
I had not, though I see he did point to my project in his OP at one point.
That OP of thread was last updated before keys were a thing… wonder if he’s accessible/available for me to chat with.
Edit: Nemo pointed him to RB:HP last summer, when keys WERE a thing, but I haven’t heard anything. Pretty sure the dude is/was active on these boards though — might have to hunt him down.

I noticed that the Recent Release Batch for the last update included “Buddy Holly” in the Optional Keys upgrades. Was there a change to this file not mentioned in the update notes? Or if it was a mistake, is it at least the most current version of the song? Just want to see if I need to roll back that song to a previous update now.
