If I am not allowed to discuss this here, I’m sorry, and please delete this.
Question 1:
There is a method where you can separate the vox if you have a certain set of tracks.
I’m not posting on how because I’m 99% sure it would violate the rules in some way?
It still has a little bit of other stuff in it, so it’s not 100% perfect, but it’s like 90% vox, and the other bits are very quiet.
And if you listen to both the separated vox and the instrumental, it sounds exactly like the original song.
I’m wondering if it’s acceptable to use these as “Karaoke”?
Question 2:
I think I read somewhere on here that if we use multi tracks, it’s best if we click the “encrypt” icon in Magma?
I just want to be sure, because there are a handful of songs I’m doing with multitracks (not related to question 1).
And if the songs in question 1 are acceptable, would I do the same with those?
December 14, 2015 at 7:47 pm #460732Discussion of multitracks is not forbidden as a rule, the issue comes from sources. If you own those tracks (as in, you created your own music), if you have a license to use them from the artist or if the artist has shared them publicly, it’s fine to discuss them. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
1) It all depends on how good the instrumental is. Compile, go play in game, lower the audio of the vocals to 0 and see if the song sounds right. If it does, good; if not, it depends on how not good it sounds. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
2) Encrypt always and you’re good to go. You have probably no interest in other people downloading your songs to get to an MP3, so just leave the option on and you’re done. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
December 14, 2015 at 8:59 pm #460740The artist didn’t officially release the separate vox, but I made them myself using two tracks (normal+instrumental) that were officially released as a 2-disc special edition. So that’s why I was unsure about it.I can’t test it in-game.But as said right above this, the instrumental is officially released, so it’s the same exact thing as the original, just without vox. I don’t know if that’s what you meant or not. But listening to that + the self-made vox together sounds 100% exactly like the original song.December 14, 2015 at 9:23 pm #460742The artist didn’t officially release the separate vox, but I made them myself using two tracks (normal+instrumental) that were officially released as a 2-disc special edition.
