So, I got tired of playing Rock Band 3 on Dolphin due to the graphics. It ran perfect but I want better graphics so I am getting a Xbox 360 to play my customs. My only question is there a specific version of the Xbox 360 that can play customs? Like can I get a Xbox 360 E and it will play them or do I need to get the original black one or even a white one? Sorry if I sound stupid I just want to make sure before I blow almost $200 on a console. Thank you. Also, sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section. I didn’t know where else to put it.

This would be an example of a copy which WILL work with customs:
However this would not
Note the red Mad Catz logo on the bottom right on the second one.
The reason why the Mad Catz copy must be avoided is because there is a specific TU (title update) that customs will work on, and that is TU4. The Mad Catz version, as is my understanding, ships with TU5 by default, and will not downgrade to TU4. The EA version, on the other hand, ships with no TU, and can be upgraded to TU4.

The copy I picked up from GameStop didn’t have the original case but the disc had the EA Logo on it so would it still work?
