Customs Holiday Bash Day 2, Slot 2: “Insite + Aurum” (Bonus: “Valiente + Antonio Niram”)

This time I’m presenting two EPs: “Simple Desastre” by the Mexicali band Insite, and the latest release from Aurum, a band originally from Guadalajara, “Fuego Abierto.” These two EPs have been very important to me this year, so I saved them for a special release, and this event was the perfect opportunity.
INSITE

For me, “Simple Desastre” marks the band’s resurgence. After a hiatus announced as a breakup, Insite returns with this EP and a new member: Antonio Altamirano (Tano), vocalist of Aurum.
This EP represents a new beginning for the band, exploring new sounds with the addition of a new vocalist.
For me, this was the moment I truly appreciated Insite’s sound, which I hope you continue to enjoy.

Insite lineup on this EP:
César Cossio (Kar): Guitar, vocals
Johanan Lam: Drums
Carlos Esquer (Mike): Bass
Gabriel Félix: Guitar, vocals
Antonio Altamirano: Lead vocals
Rafael Cossio: Guitar
AURUM

Aurum, the band originally from Guadalajara, returns to the studio with their new EP “Fuego Abierto” this year, along with a tour for their 20th anniversary, This album was produced by Eduardo Vela and Tano Altamirano, members of Aurum

Aurum are:
Antonio Altamirano (Tano): Lead vocals
Eduardo Vela (Velastian): Lead guitar
Miguel Romo (Mike): Guitar, backing vocals
Touring members:
Ciro Peralta (Ciroy): Bass
Joseph Ailhaud: Drums
BONUS: “Valiente + Antonio Niram”
“Valiente” is the project of Mario Tamez (whom I had the opportunity to meet this year, and to whom I dedicate this bonus release), as he describes it:
“Valiente arose simply from the need to fill those voids that I couldn’t materialize when I was in other musical projects. Also, in a way, I did it to challenge my abilities as a musician. It’s not the same to compose and record a song with one, two, or three friends as it is to do it alone.”

I hope you find something in this song that captivates you, as much as it captivated me.
Antonio Niram is a singer-songwriter, musician, and independent composer originally from Veracruz. Although he is a solo artist, he also actively participates in bands like Kill Aniston and Sputnik.

When I met Mario, while we were talking about my passion for this music scene, he mentioned his friend Antonio Niram, among other bands and artists, whose music I had been pending to listen to. When I think Rojo Fuego was released as a bonus track on this pack, I knew that creating this custom would be perfect.
I hope you enjoy this release, designed as Spanish-language content, and more than that, that you find these songs fascinating, whether you’re having a great time playing them as custom tracks or simply letting yourself be captivated by the music.
Finally, a huge thanks to Karim, who tested the customs before their release, for recording all these previews, and for the visuals on the Rojo Fuego and Autopiloto customs. And to Marcost, who helped me correct a couple of notes in the vocals.
