5- “Caribou” by Pixies (just guessing a different song off the album because I think if it were “Levitate Me” the clues would’ve pointed to that specific song more)

This is a super stretch I think..

    “Runaway Train” by Soul Asylum?

    – Ojibwe maybe?- there’s remains found in Pine City, MN that are believed to be Ojibwe (as per Google), a resident of Pine City is in the music video as a missing person
    – Earned a Grammy- Best Rock Song grammy
    – What Caitlyn Jenner might say for $1000, Alex- ‘runaway train, never coming back’ kinda makes sense

Killing Joke definitely makes sense for #2

Obviously 1 is just the comic book The Killing Joke

The weasels in Roger Rabbit die from laughter.

I don’t get the second part though

Another possible guess for #1 is Woodstock by Crosby Stills and Nash, but I don’t think they’re any more popular than The Young Rascals.

Would love it if true, but the Young Rascals are hardly a “hugely popular band”.

True, but there’s very few options that fit both hall of fames and that’s their most popular song which I didn’t know was a cover either until I looked it up. I mean they have almost 10 top 20 songs.
