MemberAlso alot of people complain about wanting more metal, but you argument works the same way. Why should there be metal in a game called “Rock Band”?
Not defending who you’re quoting but metal is a subgenre of rock.

MemberI decided to pull them due to a copyright infringement notice my internet provider sent to me.
I have no intent of uploading anything additional.

MemberAlso, I’m looking for feedback, particularly those who played “Kids” on vocals. I need input on how they came out.

MemberI want to establish, if there’s any chance of seeing further updates of existing songs, it will be the Elton John ones. I do not intend to do anything further at the moment. If you really want to see an updates to different songs, again, ask me for the RPP file. I don’t have all the time to do something that I can’t benefit from myself nor do I have any proper experience with.

MemberThanks Tails. Feel free to post it on the first page of your own thread. It’s just going to get buried here eventually.

MemberI’ll see what I can further do with “Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding”. Even with two stems the Elton John took considerable time. Now it’s out I’ll have time to look to see on upgrading songs to 100% status. Expect 1 shortly and another planned among the database (neither Elton John FYI). I can’t promise a due date because this is not first priority.

MemberNo shortcuts, no reductions, it’s all Elton John. Not entirely sure what this is supposed to mean. Not doing reductions is one of the biggest shortcuts in authoring. Not doing the other instruments is another shortcut. Also, Elton John plays the piano and sings. You don’t have all Elton John, you have half Elton John.
It is perfectly fine to do partial customs, but you’re kinda asking for it with that statement.
You admins love to pick fights don’t you? Especially to a person that could be C3’s biggest ticket to pro-keys yet.

MemberRelease for 2/6/15:
Elton John 02
4 new tracks. All piano (and some organ for “Honky Cat”) charted. No shortcuts, no reductions, it’s all Elton John. “Bennie and the Jets” and it’s raunchy rhythm. The title track of his most acclaimed album, “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. “Honky Cat”, perhaps the most difficult Elton John song yet and his arguably most famous track, “Tiny Dancer”.

Memberjust wondering, will you be updating Evil Woman anymore, or using CAT, or adding bass/vocals?Maybe bass, but completing songs is the least of my priorities. This is the main reason I’m open to giving away the RPP files. However, nothing is set in stone.
As for CAT, I couldn’t get it to work on my machine so I didn’t bother further with it.

MemberRelease for 1/30/15:
The Spinners 01
A notable 60s/70s soul group associated with the Motown movement. All 3 tracks should have a chance to garner the “Oh, that song!” moment.
Yoshida Brothers 01
A duo fusing traditional Japanese Shamisen music with western rock and electronic techniques. A unique but challenging experience for the guitar player as you get to play this instrument almost all the time. It’s also under the mysterious “World” genre.

The Spinners – “It’s a Shame”
The Spinners – “The Rubberband Man”
Yoshida Brothers – “Kodo – Inside the Sun Remix”

Brymir – “Withering Past”
System of a Down – “Revenga”

MemberThat Elton John song is really praiseworthy. I usually play the game through a real keyboard’s monitor-in plug and a lot of the time I could hardly tell, if it was my playing or original recording, which isn’t that normal for these kinds of songs even in Harmonix’ charts. More importantly it was one of the most fun songs of this type in the entire catalogue.Personally I’m even happier for the Jazztronik song. I’m a big fan off a lot off nu-jazz stuff and at least to my knowledge this is the first song in that genre in the game. Now, if only I could play it a little better than 80% and 43 note streak.

Thank you.
I only recently passed “Samurai” myself. It’s admittedly embarrassing that certain times, I can barely play the songs I end up charting.
