Thx for the beta, Unfortunately it didn’t work for me, i get mostly black screen , with notification of beat markers in type and a white bar for the note/notes.

 

Perhaps im doing something wrong, im not sure. I rescanned the vst/fx folders after placing the dll in the appropriate folder, rebooted machine, etc etc .

Hmm Tempo mapping…

 

It used to be the bane of my life.. ( still is if the im charting 70s music )

 

Take it from me, that a bang on tempo map will make charting the song a lot easier ..( well it does for me )

 

There is an old tempo mapping tutorial on you tube , by pksage…. its still relevant so it should help ……

 

Ive been thinking about doing a live stream on Tempo mapping, if i decide to do it, ill let you know.

Good call, i was testing putting most of the customs onto the Internal HDD as i was having a few customs break….

 

Basically i tested on another xbox 360 with the customs loaded but without the flash drive in that contains the TU4 Update…

 

Im guessing thats the problem… as i did auto generate the venue in magma.

Update….Hahaha Havent had this much fun in ages…I added the dry vox, built the song , connected mic drums and guitar..

 

Song starts, the singer turns his back on the audience and walks off to the rear , behind the drummer , and reappears towards the end of the song….

 

I didnt think my dry vox wwas THAT Bad…lol

 

Is it something im missing or just a quirk of the software/ Game ?

I must admit its a bit of a head scratcher, with the dryvox being able to animate the singer ….

 

Ahhh the wonders of technology..

 

Ill get right on it, and add the dryvox and see what happens..

 

If all goes well, a new song should be uploaded soon.

I just finished an experiment with a GH song using separate tracks, The file size is 23Mb compared to approx 5Mb ……………

 

I not sure if its a good idea to continue with this system , even though it may pee off a few people……….

 

I dont know….. what do you guys think ?

Hadnt thought about the file size .. Hmm good point ……perhaps the person who asked me to use Multitracks was referring to G/B/and Drums.

As a newbie , im guessing its the url for the site hosting your song ? ie: mediafire – i-cloud – dropbox etc etc……

or does this site also host the songs ?

Thank you very much for the replies, Im guessing all the charting im doing is turning my brain’s to mush.

 

Now on 3rd fullly charted song (Deep Purple .. Sometimes i feel like screaming ) The drums are proving to be a bit of a nightmare, However, the guitar chart is done and its an epic…lol
