Another vote for probably going to buy it but, not 100%, it will depend on the specifics(instruments/set list/portability of old instruments)

 

Personally, I only play rock band for party’s/hang outs, not much solo playing. So having the playlist go down from 2500 odd songs(including tons of really good niche songs we play the hell out of thanks to you guys here) to 100ish or whatever ends up being the final number of disc/rb3 stuff available won’t be easy.(bought all my dlc on ps3)

 

Or having to switch systems and controllers mid party or back and forth cuz someone wants to play song A or song B just don’t see that going over well.

I like a lot of those bands but I think they’d be niche songs at best, especially for anyone playing with friends. Given most of those guys are seldom vocals, or in sigur’s case gibberish.

 

That said I’d like to personally play some mogwai(been jamming to them since like 99′) or goonies.

 

 

If you haven’t checked it out killbody tuning from the RBN is an awesome post rock band in the vein of a lot of these bands.

You do raise a good point about the hardware being unavailable, though. That’s probably why they hesitated to chart keys for the new songs.

I would think that the keyboard would be the MOST available piece of hardware for Rock Band though, with it coming out most recently. Could be wrong though….

 

Purely conjecture, but it came out late, and they didn’t sell to many IRRC. Plus it’s limited scoring use with full band. I don’t think there are tons floating around…

 

fwiw, when “we” play it hardly if ever comes out cuz it’s a pain throwing it in with all the other stuff going on, and someone has to sit in and then sit out…wah wah wah.. I still like it sometimes though.

You never know, but it’s doubtful. Something like U2 imo, would spread around pretty quickly and I haven’t run by any. You’ll have to settle for the 6? or so the lads did here.
