If a MOGG is encrypted you can’t access it, plainly put. You need to find a different audio file and redo the tempo map if needed.

way over my head with the tempo map thing, as I said I used my audio file and it lost sync

C3 CON Tools automatically downmixes encrypted MOGGs into a single backing OGG file. If your copy of C3 CON Tools doesn’t do this it’s because you’re running a very outdated version.

doesn’t downmix the file, trust me. using the newest version, give it a try yourself

Actually, I was re-reading the original post and I’m wondering: is it possible that these old customs have encrypted MOGGs?

it is infact encrypted, since the tools won’t do anything with it

as I said, you guys should see for yourself.

incase you guys don’t believe me:

    Welcome to Phase Shift Converter

Drag and drop the CON /LIVE file(s) to be converted here

Or click ‘Change Input Folder’ to select the files

    Ready to begin

Reading input directory … hang on

    Found 1 CON file

    Ready to begin

Loaded and processed songs.dta file for song #1 successfully

Song #1 is The Romantics – Talking In Your Sleep

Extracted album art file UGC_5000101_keep.png_xbox successfully

Converted album art file to ‘album.png’ successfully

    Extracted MIDI file UGC_5000101.mid successfully

Separating mogg file into its component ogg files

Mogg file is encrypted and I could not decrypt it, can’t split it

    Failed…will try to downmix

Downmixing audio file to stereo file:

    C:MusicThe Romantics – Talking In Your Sleepguitar.ogg

Mogg file is encrypted and I could not decrypt it, can’t split it

    Failed

Successfully processed 1 of 1 files

    Done!

Process took 0 minutes and 3 seconds

Click ‘Reset’ to start again or just close me down

not a single song gave me trouble except for this one, so not sure what the deal is. the chart is pretty nice so I’d love to keep it synced without looking into silly tempo map stuff

trying to extract The Romantics – Talking In Your Sleep for Phase Shift and the .mogg is encrypted, so says the C3 CON Tools. I did try to sync up my copy of the song and it stays synced for a bit then loses sync, hence me trying to get that .mogg unpacked and converted to .ogg files, any help would be appreciated
