As much as it pains me to say so, I think my days of charting are done (at least for the forseeable future).  My PC (which I did all of my charting on, contains all my files) crapped out on me a few weeks ago, meaning I can’t access my WIP files (thankfully, it’s a motherboard or graphics card issue, not hard drive).  Have been trying to put a new one together, but preordering RB4 took a chunk out of my PC budget.

 

It’s been great connecting and working with people, sharing all the music I love.  Maybe I’ll come back to it someday.  Apologies that I couldn’t get more work in prior to computerdeath, I’ll still be running a customs setup so I’ll always have some motivation to put some polish on things I’ve worked on.

Sang it earlier, vox for parts 2 & 3 felt really off in some areas. If I can find some free time (probably after MAGClassic this weekend) I wouldn’t mind tweaking a few parts.

I’m only disappointed I didn’t download “What’s Up” before it got pulled. I don’t know how I overlooked that one when I was pillaging the C3 database the first time around, but for whatever reason I didn’t know it was a custom until everyone started talking about it getting pulled.

 

Same way I feel about “My God is the Sun”. I’ve gotten really into …Like Clockwork lately. I can only hope for official releases for “If I Had a Tail” and “I Appear Missing”.

Just putting this out there, if anyone would like to adapt any songs (especially the mostly-complete ones) for C3 release, let me know. Since RB4 is getting closer, I’d love to see some of them get a release, even just as singles.

All I’ve gotten so far for Xbone is Roundabout. Can’t think of anything else I want to pick up for the near future, will likely stick to PS4 for multiplats (Fallout 4, and…can’t think of anything else).

I remember my very first song I wanted to chart on here, DFA1979’s “Romantic Rights”. Fucking love the band. Get a private message saying “I’m planning on putting out a DFA pack, you can do yours but when we put it out we’ll be using my version.” Had finished most instruments on X by that point, but was having errors (likely due to notes overlapping/general inexperience), got disheartened on ever releasing my version. Not sure what ever happened with the pack.

 

Anyway, would be happy to add vox to it, for one of my favorite bands. Getting my charting groove back now that con season is over.
