JordanMemberAny idea on what the general range could be?

JordanMemberLol, ok.
1. The tempo maps are very inaccurate. No one is good when they start out (e.g. Me. You have no clue how many people I messaged and how many threads I made when I first started charting). Charting is hard, yes. But there’s a line that has to be drawn somewhere. Usually your first few charts suck (Looking back at a few of my charts, especially some of my drum only charts, they are god awful and I need to fix them). But as I said, the line is drawn when the problem is staring at you in the face. Running your own chart through RBN Preview especially in the case of these songs would you tell you that almost everything is off tempo and almost nothing matches up.
2. Drum charts. My main instrument is drums and looking at these charts was hard. Things that are blantly not rhythmically sensical or missing things such as kicks that aren’t even hard to hear whatsoever seems to be an ongoing epidemic in this authors charts. Maybe just reading this could improve that aspect, as not one person until recently even went as far as to point out that these charts are not very good.
3. General inconsistency and bad charting. Again, this can easily be improved. But my biggest concern is that problems are so abundent that I have reason to believe this author does not play Rock Band as much as maybe other authors do and is not as experienced in charting and does not know what a drum chart should even look like. Let’s take for example, Bang Bang. In the beginning of the song, Bass is charted on drums. This kind of thing gives me reason to believe the person barely plays the game let alone even looks at his charts before he posts them. After the little intro, the actual drum chart kicks in. One problem I notice is there are many kicks that are just ignored, and they aren’t even hard to hear.
Another, smaller charting inconsitentcy in the drum chart, would be cymbal hits being BG instead of YG. Very nitpicky I agree but something that still bothered me.
One thing that makes me very upset is this:
How do you even?
More general inconsitencies like this in the Gasoline chart:
At Doom’s Gate:
I don’t know what headphones are being used but no kick notes make any sense in alot of these charts. Not to mention the extremely overcharted guitar in At Doom’s Gate.
As I said before, we can all be guilty of being not very good, or even horrible charters we start out. Hell, this is actually exactly how I was when I started charting, don’t believe me? You could go back to some of the first threads I made and take a look at some of the videos, here, I’ll even link one now.

As you can see, this almost replicates what this author has done. The difference is this version never even made it past the first few minutes before I knew it was very very wrong. Today I’ve uploaded a drums only chart of this song, months after I uploaded this video. Even in the one I uploaded, it is very inaccurate (missing hi-hats, missing ghost notes, ect). This video was before I could even tempo map correctly, I think I remember setting one 90 BPM marker at the beginning and that was it.
Sorry if I rambled or the critism wasn’t up to par, I kinda just did it on a whim. It should be noted that no one is perfect but it definetely didn’t help that this author was encouraged with his sub-par or even dare I say, bad charts. Improvement is always possible and I can see this author releasing some quality charts in the future, hopefully, if he does return.
Thanks for reading.

JordanMemberJarod (the author of the entire album) tried and the limitations of the game didn’t allow him to. Sorry.

JordanMemberI believe I used the same settings of ReaSynth that you used in the song you sent me…I could be wrong though. I’ll double check when I get home.
