February 12, 2016 at 6:57 pm in reply to: Official blog post about exports (RB3 in Dec for $15, RBN MIGHT NOT BE DEAD) #463475
I don´t know if you guys already seen it, but I have an Xbox One with RB 4 and I bought the RB3 Export…so now I got the RB3 Songs in my list…and today as I read here that there could be the RB1 Export out for PS4 I also looked at my RB4 on Xbox One…the game updated very long, but still no other Exports to download/purchase…but I discovered in the RB4 Gamehub, that in the Add-Ons, there are some RB1 Songs and AC/DC Songs, that I can install for free…but I have to click on every single Song…so now I´m downloading my old RB Songs and searching through this library
January 8, 2016 at 1:46 pm in reply to: Ollie’s Customs (and Other Music For Uplifting Gormandizers) – 03/31 – New The Chain Gang of 1974 – 1 new song #461763A very very very big THANK YOU for doing “Where did you sleep last night”!!!
I appreciate it so much, you can´t even imagine!!!
And I think, for all the good work you guys been doing here, there have to be a “donate” account, whatever, but something to give you at least a few dollars (or Euro in my country) for all that good stuff, the good music, the special songs! So if there´s nothing done yet in this direction, I vote for some easy way to thank all of you with some kind of cash!
RIP Lemmy!!!
Never been that big Motörhead Fan cause I they sound a lil bit too trashy…like a Garage Metal Band…but I think that was that special about all the Motörhead Lovers…
Don´t know why people used to hate him…
I hope someone want to do “Mull of Kintyre”, with the Bagpipe as Keyboard
Thanks, I really appreciate your time to give me some advices!!! I´ll give it a try tommorrow, and give you some feedback!
But really, thanks for all your support!!
Thanks for your quick help!
But first:
I have an old Xbox 360…the first hd drive is the original xbox storage that I could click on it…the second is my removable hd with installed game rb3, game saves, customs and the edited tu4…
So when I wanna do some harmonies files in there, I use a usb stick, with also tu4 on it, a/v-settings and maybe a copy of my main save game…I really delete every time every song cache that even exists, put the new files in rb3, let build a new cache on the stick, then delete the dummy, off/on, and no harmonies files anymore…
So, my questions:
– On which HD is your Microsoft Online Profile and do you log in bevor start the rb3? I have my main profile on the 360 hd, even the original songs, exports, and the tu5 update…
– when rb3 asking if and where to download the new update, where do you located it?
– Where do you have the edited tu4 update? on both removable hd´s?
– Usually ich checked it with switching the updates to play custom songs and originals separated…but in the past, I somehow could have both updates on my removable hd with the customs, never been asked to update the game, and could play all songs at the same time! But I don´t remember what I had on my 360 hd, that this could´ve work…
– So after my removable hd got deleted, since then if I want to play the originals, I always download the tu5 again on my 360 hd, and if I want to play the customs, I delete the tu5 and when asked if and where to download the update at the start, I deny and then can play the customs…but the harmonies files only show up, when both files still exist…
The Game already exists, so do Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan (only voice) and John Cena…just type in the keywords in the search engine
I still got the same problem, that once I move the dummy file, all the songs are away…at some time in the past, I had it done, that in my rb3 folder on my removable hd, there was the tu4 and the tu5 update…and everything worked perfectly…but my hd crashed and I had to do it again…but this time, I coulnd´t find the mistake…
So now I pulled all my Original RB2/3 Files together with the rb2 export and the tu5 on the 360 hd, the customs and saved games with tu4 on the removable hd, and on my stick there are the RBH Files with another saved game…so when I try to install them, first I delete the song cache, shut the xbox down, then pull my removable hd off, start my xbox, login my account, start rb3 and then it´ll save it on my usb stick…It builds a cache thats bigger than 2 mb, and not like in the youtube video with only about 700 kb…so then I go to my storage and delete the dummy file…off/on, but no rbh files on my rb3…
So I´m asking what I´m doing wrong? How important is it to really turn the 360 off every for at least a minute? And on which storage are your saved game(s), all the tu4 and tu5 updates, and where are your microsoft account?
Thx TrojanNemo, and such as with Farottone, I´m a really big Fan of your custom work! I´m so glad that I found this here!
And still hoping that this doesn´t stop with RB4! All the good Customs that you two made (and pksage, and all the others here!), I´m really thankfull for that!
When there´ll be time in the near future (maybe x-mas holidays), I´ll try it myself to make a custom and I´ll promise to give my very best!
K thx, but those which I mean are wireless…
I also have a USB Mic, but these original 360 mics work a lot better
Hm, what about the original 360 Mics? Got two of them, and to this point I couldn´t figured out if they work or how…
Thanks Mr. Tone for that information, appreciate it!
Just one question: is there a possibility to make the crowd completely silent?
In the preferences, I always put the crowd and other effects off, and in RB4, you can hear the crowd in the beginning of every song, but that´s it…in RB3, I couldn´t turn the crowd-noise completely off…
And for those who use the Xbox One, just like me, today the new Windows 10 Update can be downloaded, and so far there are 104 Xbox 360-games can now be played on Xbox One…but no Guitar Hero or Rock Band so far
With “better sound”, I meant that the songs itself sounds better…
The sounds of the songs are a very important part to me, but I´m not that “pro” in case of hearing exactly differences…
I only use a Logitech Z5500…and I disable alway the dts sound, because that makes no sense to me if you only attend to music songs…
But in RB4, for me (and so far all of my friends who got an example of the sound quality), it´s like you hear now every single instrument a lot clearer…
Maybe it´s on your “aged ears”, or that I didn´t have a comparison of any other sound system that costs more, do more or got more…
Yeah you´re right, almost forgotten to go on amazon and review it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> Maybe I´m full of love because of that comparison to guitar hero: live…
So, I got the Game yesterday…first I decided to buy guitar hero: live with guitar, played…I mean, the Stages are pretty cool, the atmosphere on some of these with the reaction from the fans and other bandmembers also…the sound itself is worse than all the other gh and rb games…and I don´t know about future plans to import some of other gh songs from the earlier games…
The new guitar…the Idea from the six buttons is not that bad…but the combinations and the playing doesn´t got me that feeling that I have when I play Rock Band! It´s not that authentic!
So I give the game back and instead bought Rock Band 4:
– All my former Instruments work so far with the adapter!
– The sound quality of the songs are even a bit better than in the former games…and in Rock Band 3, I found the Quality was the best of all the other previous gh and rb games! This point is very important to me! It makes a lot of fun again to play some old bought songs again!
– The gameplay itself…still almost the same! You can skip the guitar solos in the songs, but that doesn´t make lots of sense, cause this is a big part of every song…but you can turn this function off…
– As far as I know is, that the RB3-Keyboard will not come back…which is sad
– But as I read here, the old RB Exports will work soon!
In the end, I´m very happy to made this decision to go on RB4!!! Got goosebumps again on Songs like “The show must go on from Queen or “Piece of my heart” from Janis Choplin!!
